Estrada's Son Has CHP On Shoulder in Mid-Air

Erik Estrada's son has attracted law enforcement, but not in a CHPy way.

Sources tell TMZ Brandon Estrada was on a Northwest Airlines flight last night from L.A. to Memphis. We're told the 20-year-old Estrada became "unruly" with the staff during flight, forcing the plane to be diverted to Oklahoma City because of the incident. We've confirmed that Feds did board the plan when it landed, but we don't know if Estrada was taken into custody.

This afternoon Erik Estrada told TMZ, "My wife and I have been informed that our adult son Brandon has been involved in an incident. Brandon informed us recently that he has had stress and pressure at college." Brandon attends USC.

Erik continued, "We're told he has elected to see an on-campus psychologist, which I told him was a good idea." Estrada says he was unaware until today that his son was on meds for stress and depression.

48. Well said Della! Oh, and I forgot about 'your' and 'you're'. Your poor grammar lessens your credibility when you're trying to prove your point. I see that mistake being made more than anything else. (/ lesson rant) And notice that he ELECTED to get help and therefore acknowledged that he has a problem. He may have made a bad mistake, but at least he is owning up to it. Perhaps the John Madden method of travel may suit him better for a while- at least until he possibly gets his mental health and meds issues sorted out.

50. College is tough, and parents rarely know the real scoop on how the kid is feeling/doing as their expectations are high.
The kids won't tell the parents if they're struggling because they don't want to appear weak or let their parents down.
Meltdowns like this are a sign. Lol.

55. Some of you are right, he looks nothing like his "dad" Erik, but then again, maybe he is adopted...who cares? Btw, where aref the people who commented on here in the past who were at least interesting and made valid points? Now, it seems like its mostly people advertising silly dating sites and hateful racist dumba***s who have nothing intelligent to say at all. Also, I hate the new setup. I liked the old one better. 56. Rumor is that Erik Estrada is a clueless-absent- mean father , married to the wicked step-mother wife & the cruel behavior of both of them pushed Brandon over the edge. Nothing to do with college. Try having old EE as a Dad..yeah, that'd do it, even if it is from a distance. 58. Hey, i actually know Brandon and Anthony Estrada. Eric really didn't know that his son was on meds because his dad neglects both anthony and brandon, and pays most attention to, nanette and franchesca his latest family.

I'm enraged to hear all these comments saying that Brandon was spoiled in anyway, because he grew up without Eric being around. Eric only gave small financial support.

Brandon wasn't spoiled or babied in anyway, he does not think he's better than anyone, especially because his dad is a celeb, he almost never mentions who his dad is. That's kinda a given when his dad was never around to see him grow up or raise him.

60. my son travels reguarly, goes to graduate school, training for the military and works a job as well. Yet, he is nothing but respectful to others. I hate when people like this excuse bad behavior. It only encourages our young people not to bother to make an effort to be decent to others
