Alleged Rape Victim Loves to Party at Les Deux

Turns out the underage patron accusing the owner of Les Deux of rape and serving alcohol to minors is a regular at the joint herself. Shocker, we know!

19-year-old Skye-Anne Smith plastered pics on her Facebook page, showing that she parties there like a mutha 'til the wee hours. A bold move with her being underage and all.

An attorney for the club tells TMZ: "Minors are allowed inside. It is not a club, it is a restaurant. She has been on the party circuit for a long time. I think she implied to the police that she had never been there before, so I think these photos will go a long way toward clearing the civil charges."

We contacted the California Alcohol Beverage Control Board today and they told us they're investigating the alleged incident -- and putting a bunch of other celeb hangouts under a microscope. The spokesperson says they've already dragged several young'uns out of the club who had been drinking, but the charges didn't stick because they had "really good fake IDs."

16. Additionally, as a woman who is morally outraged by this, I am requesting that TMZ delete this post. It should be illegal to reveal the victim's identity in cases of this nature.

Do the right thing TMZ and delete this entry. You have no right to post that girl's picture.

aaaaaand this!

is the part where TMZ ignores your request.

17. She definitely is not the sweet and innocent type staying at home baking cookies. In the world of common sense, you get what you give. If you're dressed like a slut and you drink like a alcoholic, chances are some male creep is going to recognize your poor behavior and try to get what he can. I'd say you, the drunk female, have waived your right to complain and file any charges whatsoever. If you don't want to get raped, don't party like a slut. It's pretty simple.

18. so far i have to agree with wat people are saying how could TMZ be so cruel in posting this picture of a alleged rape victim so if a girl goes out n gets raped its her fault or she may be a liar? u know first the whole kanye west tapes n now this my goodness TMZ dont you people have souls? what kind of message are you sending out there to people thats its ok to discredit a victim? or sending the message out there to rape victims not to come forward, and if this were to happen to any of the TMZ staff children would u want this to happen to ur children? u guys are sick and kudos to the people who are outraged by this tasteless reporting on this story its nice to know there are people with morals! and im not sure if this girl is telling the truth or not but that doesnt matter she shouldnt be exposed like this

19. Relax - it's not a criminal investigation, just a civil suit, right? No protection there baby. If she filed a criminal complaint, why didn't the DA prosecute? If she didn't file a criminal complaint, why not? Lawsuits are public info, unlike rape victims who file criminal complaints.

20. you know wat frank davis i have to thank you for that one i guess i let the emotions get the best of me instead of looking at it from a different perspective even though i still have to agree wit wat i said no matter what type of suit this is no alleged rape victim should be subjected to this type of reporting just for entertainment purposes n its a shame cuz now millions of people know who she is i do believe her identity should have been kept quiet n outta curiosity wat r ur thoughts about the tapes of kanya's mother?

21. It's not just that you exposed the alleged rape victim, but the context that you did it in. You are clearly implying from this post that she is less credible because she parties. Partying does not mean that you're asking for rape.

At first I thought your post #8 was satirical, but now I realize you may be serious, with no irony. (Correct me if I'm wrong.)
If you're actually serious then your post #8 borders a bit on sociopathy.

The terms at stake here is not whether TMZ has a right to be an "equal opportunity offender" or politically incorrect, if that is what you're implying. TMZ's action here is symptomatic of a pernicious discourse far larger than this, and if you were
street-smart educated about the world, you'd understand it concerns the cultural relegation and (figurative) mutilation of women to a second-order class, even in 2007, in America. This has real social ramifications. In America, there is still little gender parity in terms of pay scale or real power/influence in high status professions like politicians, CEOs, lawyers (women can be smart, powerful, successful but *never* as smart, powerful, successful as their male counterparts), there is still a Good Old Boy's club that politically and economically controls most of American society and its assets, our society systematically and subtly marginalizes, subverts, or defeminizes powerful and intelligent women, but this never happens to powerful and intelligent men. Here with TMZ like a predictable cliche the female rape victim's credibility is immediately questioned. By the way, this is a problem created by society, not males, as men are forced into their own confining cultural scripts.

"equal opportunity offender," You're letting yourself be a slave to the establishment. TMZ is too, but as a corporate body that's its inherent nature. But you're an individual person with free will, and you're in the Matrix, and you don't even know it.

Addendum: Just critically analyze some of the comments to this post that have male user names or seem to have been made by men. There's the hard evidence of the phenomenon I've just pointed out. Do you men (if you are men who wrote the comments) know you're a slave to male cultural scripts? Do you realize in your comments how much your free mind is in chains, which you've imposed on yourself?

26. It is really irresponsible to give a rape victim's name... even if it was just alleged at this point. NOT RIGHT!

Posted at 9:49PM on Dec 18th 2007 by Ally

27. HD -- I couldn't agree with you more. It's actions like this -- the public shaming/outing of rapes victims -- that just compound the myriad of longstanding societal misunderstanding/prejudgment of rape victims. For centuries rape victims have been the least protected and least powerful members of society. To pretend otherwise, or to act that like it is an 'equal playing field,' is ridiculous.

I frankly don't care if this is a civil suit or not. One would think that Mr. Levin has *some* moral standards. Do they not have a morals clause as part of the CBA?

DISGUSTING.

28. This place has had a number of fights outside, a shooting, and now an alleged rape inside. Where are the cops in all of this and why is there no criminal complaint. Did she make a rape complaint to the cops? If all she did was file a civil suit trying to get money why did the court accept it without a criminal investigation.

I think this place is a low level trailer park bar and I have a far lower opinion of the L.A. cops and the California legal system but my questions about her after alleged attack actions are valid.

29. Shame on you, TMZ BIG TIME for posting pictures of a victim of an alleged sexual assault. Party girl or no, you crossed the line. Three huge steps backwards from encouraging women to report crimes like these.
