61. I think it is pure harassment what your photographers do to most of the celeb (not media seeking idiots like Spears). Julia gave you pictures and then asked to be left alone, why can't you just do it? Surely you didn't think something exciting was going to happen as she walked to her car?

62. We live in a world where fans will hang off a 50 foot tower or a street lamp to catch a view of their favorite band or entertainer.
Fed by planned media hype to promote movies, fans stand outside for 8 hours in the rain before a red carpet event to catch a glimpse of their latest stars. Paps fall backwards over baby carriages to get their money shot to feed the machine. The media machine is strategically fed ad nauseum BY PROFESSIONALS to promote the bottom line, and stars are frustrated but cannot be suprised when they learn that that over fed and wholly man-created beast now has some major teeth.

Roberts didn't have a 'deal'. She (hopefully but deludedly) tried to control the terms of the photo encounter. It's really not up to her where they go after she walks away, as they are all free and 21. Personally, I would really hate this, but I would 'get' it. Just try to stand between a guy trying to earn a (legitimate, so far) living and a four, five or six figure money shot.

64. The causes more trouble by confronting and running after them and talking to them. If she just went to the bank, didn't say a work, the tape would be worth nothing. Julia is creating her own drama to promote her own movie. It's transparent.

I can understand her being upset when the paparazzi was at her children's school that day, but....honestly Julia and other celebrities should realize by now (especially some one as famous as she is) that it is not just business as usual out in the most public places and if they do not want to be followed or have their photo taken--then get someone else to do their errands for them or be prepared to at least talk to the paps and stop being such snobs. I think of Pierce Brosnan a few weeks back when he attacked a photographer at a mall when he was with his children--all the pap did was ask him a question. Gary Dourdan (of CSI) attacked a TMZ photographer out side a night club in New Your a couple of months ago just because he took his picture. The list goes on of the sour lemon celebrites--THEY SHOULD FOLLOW THE EXAMPLES OF JOHNNY DEPP AND WILL SMITH WHEN IT COMES TO APPRECIATING THEIR FANS AND WHERE THEY ARE TODAY--MY HAT IS OFF TO BOTH OF THEM.

71. These paps are losers who abuse the 1st Amendment. They are in fact ramping up their attacks of Julia Roberts and her family. Just because she chooses to live in the public eye doesn't mean she doesn't have basic human rights. There should be a law against aggressive photogs who infringe upon a person's rights to live in peace. TMZ IS LAME!

I disagree It's not the paps fault it's the system. The TMZ guys aren't felons. That's deformation. Same as using someone else's name to propagate a false image. THAT'S a felony.
