Casey's Mom: I'm Going to Be a Grandma!

Casey Aldridge and Jamie Lynn SpearsTMZ spoke exclusively with Joyce Aldridge, mother of Casey, who confirmed that Jamie Lynn Spears is indeed pregnant with her grandchild.

Joyce said, "We are aware of the recent interview regarding her and being pregnant, and we are in agreement with everything that was said by Jamie Lynn about the situation ... everything is fine."

When asked if Casey had anything to say about his girlfriend being preggo, she said, "At this point, Casey doesn't wish to speak out, but it would be wonderful when the time comes." When asked about their ages and any negative aspects, she said, "Casey will address all of this when it is time."

TMZ also spoke with Casey's grandfather, James, who did not know about the pregnancy, but confirmed his grandson is dating Britney's sister, and that his son Mark, Casey's dad, works at a paper mill in Cleveland, TN.

37. Mother Spears should really bury her head in the sand! What a disgraceful job of parenting! They seem to think it's all "fine and dandy", no big deal. These people give a whole new meaning to "born dumb and stupid." Just when we thought the Spears girls couldn't get any lower, they exceeded their own depth of degradation. Shame on you Mother Spears! We are embarrassed for YOU!

38. I just don't understand why so many young girls are getting pregnant in nowadays. There is so much more openness about sexuality and more knowledge given to these kids about contraception, AIDS, STD's, etc, than ever. I really wish our young people would have more respect for their bodies and how serious it is to be sexually involved with a partner. I think despite all the information they are given these kids still don't understand how much responsibility goes along with being sexually active. It's not entirely up to the parents or schools to stop teen pregnancy, it is up to the kids as well. She could have done so many things and combinations of things to protect herself from getting pregnant. Sadly though sometimes though it's not a matter of an 'accident', it's a planned pregnancy. Many of these young girls and boys think it makes them more grown up to have a child, it has almost become 'cool' to have a baby as a teen. She is not immoral, a slut, trash, or any of the other horrible things being said about her. She is just a young girl who along with her boyfriend made a very bad choice. I can only hope that she will use her status among teens to talk about the difficulties of being a teen Mom, and trying to get teens to learn from her mistakes. It would be the worst message possible to see the media or Jamie Lynn glorify teen pregnancy. Now that this child is a part of her life though I wish her the best with her pregnancy and life after her child is born. She is only sixteen years old I believe, and being a parent is the hardest job in the world even when you are an adult, so she and the father of the child will have to grow up very fast to become the Mom and Dad this baby needs and deserves.

39. this is sad, i was hoping the jamie lynn would learn from her sister and want to do better for herself. having a baby is not a bad thing but when you are 16 it is not a good thing. i just hope that she is a better mother than her sister. by the way what is up with all the unwed mothers now, celebs should set an example for the people that look up to them. it really is not that hard NOT to get pregnant. maybe try getting married first or not having sex at all.

42. Too bad Mama Spears was so busy making sure her daughters were always working in showbiz that she FORGOT to TEACH THEM ABOUT MORALS, EDUCATION, & BIRTH CONTROL!!! I though church was supposed to teach ABSTINENCE?? Good luck to Britney and now Jamie Lynn, I hope they HELP EACHOTHER TO GROW UP! Keep that Mama Spears away from Sean, Jayden, and the next one or else she'll have them in commercials, sitcoms, etc...

44. These girls need a lot of love!!! It is obviously not being shown at home, so they are going some where else to find it. The parents need to stop seeing them as cash cows, and ACTUALLY be a parent!!!! I wish Jamie the best...
