136. Blinking, Shar's child support is not the issue, and unless you can prove everything you are saying about Kevin, well, you are just blowing smoke up your a$$ cuz it feels good. The real issue here is Britney PROVING she is an unfit mother and Kevin has proven to be a fit parent. Britney should not have custody of those kids, she can't even be a good mother with a court monitor on top of her! That is the real issue here, the fact that Britney doesn't try to improve herself or her mothering in order to prove to the court that she is fit to get custody of kids she apparently doesn't even want. That wasn't Kevin out chandelier shopping, leaving the kids and the court monitor in the car, that was Britney. And how many court dates and depositions has Kevin missed? How many has Britney blown off? Britney is unfit in every way, and that is the issue here.

140. Brit has already been diagnosed as being bipolar and anxiety is often a frequent component of that disorder. People who suffer from the higher levels of it show emotional instability that Brit is a poster child for now. She can't handle anything based in reality now and the best thing a court could do for her is to place her in mandatory treatment in exchange for more understanding by the court. She is in no place to handle children at this time. This disorder is not an excuse by any means, but it explains almost all of her actions. I am very surprised the court has not ordered a full psychological run up before they further proceed, because they are just wasting everyone's time and money until they do. But then again, psych issues are often brought up by the defense and they seem to have little interest or understanding of what is going on. If they cared for their client, they would send her for an eval. It could only help their client and could actually build a small level of compassion for Brit. Maybe they are just greedy too.

141. Years ago I had a series of anxiety attacks and believe me they are horrible. They come on suddenly and leave just as suddenly. Unless you have ever suffered from one, you really shouldn't comment. It's not surprising that Britney has anxiety - the constant scrutiny and stalking must be terrible.
I don't know if K-Fed is a good father. He stays at home with his curtains closed, apparently doing drugs and playing video games while the Nanny takes care of the kids. K-Fed seemed ok with the 50-50 child custody until his spousal support ran out and he couldn't live on her child support alone. Anyone who thinks he's not after Britney's money has rocks for brains. She gave him millions in spousal support, bought him a house with pool, a luxury car, his clothes, his food, etc. She has supported him since the day they met. He's too lazy and stupid to get a job so he has to go after the kids to get more child support to maintain his life style. Britney also has to pay sleazeball lawyer Kaplan's fees since K-Dud has NO money except what he steals from Britney. What a couple of deadbeat BUMS - K-Fed and Kaplan. They make Britney look like an angel and I'm not really a fan of hers. I just don't like gold digging, money mooching lowlifes, like K-Dud and Kaplan.

143. The "Commish" should not just accept the tape as true because TMZ reported it, because it is then accepting it without any proof. For all anyone really knows, you posted a video which had been shot at an earlier date, and said it was Britney. This "Commish" sounds like a real rocket scientist who doesn't understand even the most basic rules of evidence.

All you folks getting your underwear twisted about this statement from "sources", take a step back and let your unmentionables untwist. TMZ would like to think it had something to do with the postponement of the hearing, but it's just puffery. A commissioner or other judicial official would NOT accept as true any evidence which he/she has not viewed and which has not been authenticated (i.e., someone has to testify under oath to establish the chain of possession of the video tape/disc, the technology involved, what was done to ensure that the video is what it purports to be, that it has not been altered, etc.).

Fact is, folks, Kaplan would have been granted a postponement in any event. Britney has yet to show up for a deposition. The reasons are irrelevant; she make have had a verifiable case of anxiety, flu, cholera, whatever, or she may have been faking it. Doesn't matter. All that matters is thast she hasn't yet testified. Until she does, any hearing will be rescheduled. Kaplan has the right to take her deposition, just as Trope has the right to take Kevin's deposition. The attorneys are entitled to time afterward to receive the transcript, review it, discover other evidence that might tend to discredit or support what she/he testifies to, and time to prepare for the hearing. Since Britney has the right to review the transcript for errors before it becomes final (she'll have 30 days to make corrections), there was no way either party -- Brit or Kevin -- was going to have the benefit of the deposition transcript in time for a January hearing.

Chances are, Britney's attorney stipulated (i.e., agreed) to the new date for the deposition and to reset the hearing date. He's the one who had to defend his client's disregard of a subpoena ordering her to sit for a deposition. The best way to handle something like that is to submit an agreement between the two attorneys, to show that you are cooperating in moving these proceedings along. So TMZ is taking credit where no credit is due. It's video had nothing to do with the rescheduling.

BTW, SamanthaD, I think your recommendation that Britney should tell the commissioner to shove it is a stunning one. You want to see Brit's photo on TMZ when she gets booked for contempt of court? Whether you like his rulings or not, they are based on application of California statutes, rules of procedure, case law precedent, and the arguments presented by both sides.

148. Lynne Spears must be the worse mother who ever lived with obviously no parenting skills. Didn't she teach her girls anything? I had two daughters and I would really be upset if they turned out like the Spears girls. Of course I'm not a stage mother pushing my kids in show biz so they could support me. Most behavior dates back to a person's upbringing and the Spears girls had very bad upbringing. Those parents should be ashamed and Lynne is writing a book on "Parenting"??
