16-Year-Old Jamie Lynn Spears Is Pregnant

Jamie Lynn Spears, 16, has confirmed to OK! Magazine that she is pregnant. Oh. My. God.

A source tells us the interview, which hits stands tomorrow, is six pages and is on the record with Jamie Lynn and her mother. She tells the mag that the father is Casey Aldridge, who she has been dating for some time and first met at church. Brit's younger sister, star of Nick's "Zoey 101," says she's keeping the baby.

Sources tell us that she has not yet told her older sister. Well, she knows now.

UPDATE: Nickelodeon issued the following statement this afternoon: "We respect Jamie Lynn's decision to take responsibility in this sensitive and personal situation. We know this is a very difficult time for her and her family, and our primary concern right now is for Jamie Lynn's well being."

53. Yeah I am not surprised if it is true. Oh and Britney use to spend the night at her older boyfriends house when she was fourteen just before she made it big. He claims he never touched her and she was a virgin, bull $hit. She only claimed to be a virgin because Jessica Simpson started getting a lot of attention for it, in Fact, Brit seems to copy Jessica a lot. Brit is five years my senior and well I knew then that Brit was lying about being a virgin. What cant mommy spears control her daughters, when I was sixteen my parents were my shadow like Hulk Hogan is to Brook. I don't think having a kid that young is bad, as long as you take care of it and don't make someone else do it. My mom had me at seventeen, but she and my dad bougt a house, paid their bills, had my brother, and took responsibility for their actions. I am afraid with the SPears parenting abilities it may be genic to be complete dumb parents. Maybe Jamie Lynn can step up and break the spears bad parenting cycle. All I have left to say is that if Jamie is a better Parent then Brit, then Brit should be ashamed because Brit will no longer have an excuse, her little sister who has more on her plate than Brit will show her up.

..and this is what results from being "stage moms/dads". They should be disgusted and embarrassed with themselves.

16 years old and pregnant. She will be in rehab before she turns 18. This is disgusting and vile.

59. This makes me so sad if this is true...only 16....where the eff was Lynne when Jamie Lynne got pregnant? HELLO!! I guess she's just as bad a mom as her daughter Britney.

You read the articles saying Britney is out of control right now because in many ways she's rebelling and being irresponsible because she never had a childhood because she was famous from the age of 16....just guessing here...but since Jamie Lynne has been acting since she was like 12 or 13 and then is pregnant at 16 she'll be just as bad if not worse than britney. At least Brit was in her 20s before she got preggo and she's one huge hot mess....Lynne help your daughters you POS MOM
