Lets Get This Party Started
Jamie Lynn Terminates ... Mom's Book!

Remember that book that Lynne Spears was writing about, uh, parenting? Well, now that Jamie Lynn is all knocked up, the tome is all but knocked out. Ya think?

Lynne's book -- "Pop Culture Mom" -- was supposed to come out this spring, but TMZ has confirmed that the pub date has now been "delayed indefinitely ... It's delayed, not canceled," according to Thomas Nelson, the publisher. It had been pitched as "Lynne Spears's personal story of raising high-profile children while coming from a low-profile Louisiana community."

No word on whether Grandmama will be adding a chapter on teen pregnancy.

LiLo -- Livin' with a Lady?

She just dumped Riley, she's been snogging a "Spencer," but it looks like LiLo's latest companion is a girl called Courtenay.

Lindsay, reports the New York Post, has been spending days and nights with Courtenay Semel, the daughter of Hollywood heavyweight Terry Semel, and showed up with her new galpal to a party at "a Sapphic soiree" hosted by L.A. "power lesbian" Jeanette Longoria.

There, they told people that they're roommates. Lindz' rep said that they're "good friends, nothing more."

Party Favors: J. Lo to Sue Ex-Partner? ... Michael Douglas' New Gig: Voiceover Guy? ... Gest Hospitalized

Jennifer Lopez isn't happy that her clothing line, Sweetface, has been a bust, and she might sue her partner in the venture, Andy Hilfiger (brother of Tommy), reports Rush & Molloy. ... As of last night, Michael Douglas is the voice of NBC News, introducing Brian Williams at the top of every "Nightly News" broadcast. Douglas donated his fee to charity. ... Just a few days after his ex-wife LIza Minnelli collapsed on stage in Sweden --which he then mocked by dressing in Liza drag -- David Gest has been hospitalized in a north London hospital, reports the BBC, with chest pains. Karma is a bitch!

Contact Nickelodeon and let them know Jamie Spears' show needs to be pulled - she's no kind of role model for the kids watching her and thinking how "cool" or "romantic" it would be to have a baby at her age with a grown man who should be in jail for ever touching her in the first place.

47. ugh, this would be a book on how NOT to parent, or perhaps, How To Completely Avoid Parenting by Whoring Your Children Out for an Income. Life is, albeit privileged, tough for young celebrities and this woman has done a really crappy job of making sure her kids were taught good values and got good educations.

It's really sad to hear that a 16 year old is pregnant, for both the baby and the young mother.

48. parenting requires helping young girls develop good self esteem and values

Oh to be a PRINCESS! – It’s a dream of most little girls. The challenge of inspiring these little would be princesses to give the same attention to inner qualities as they do hair, makeup and clothes is one that many parents know all too well. The challenge becomes to define the princess world in terms that a young girl can not only dream but LIVE!

This challenge was the inspiration for Sandi Stonebraker when she wrote “On Being A REAL Princess, Secrets of the Happy Heart Princess”. This book is about how to be a princess from the Inside-Out! It’s about how it feels to be a princess.

Featured in the book are sixteen princesses from around the globe who dance into your world with affirmations and messages on what it means to be a REAL Princess. They understand that a REAL Princess is strong, smart and kind. She knows how to think for herself and is proud of who she is and what she believes in. She dreams big and knows that she can make her dreams come true. She understands that everyone is different but each person is special.

The book includes interactive journaling activities dealing with values, self esteem and decision making. It is a useful tool for parents, teachers, religious leaders and other caregivers to open a dialogue with little girls on all those important issues they face as they grow up in an increasingly complex society.

The author feels that it is never too early to begin the discussion on these simple values and feelings and although the book is targeted to ages 4 to 10, all ages seem to feel it’s power in reminding them of what it is to be a REAL PRINCESS!

If you are a parent, grandparent, religious leader, teacher or just someone who has a special little girl in your life, this book is a must!

49. I have now read that the publishing company is defending LYnne Spears. This is supposed to be a Christian organization and while I understand they may not want to publicly bash the bitch and they may want to take a forgiving stance in the matter, if they are indeed about Christian values like the claim, why would they continue to promote Lynne when she allowed her minor daughter to shack up with a 19 year old boyfriend? Why would they publish a book about her motherhood even if is not a "how to parent" book. And let's not forget that Lynne Spears is no saint in her personal life either. TMZ has been accured of stirring the pot by adding the "how to" tag regarding the book, and they probably did, but I read a few things in other places about that book and while the publisher wasn't calling it outright "how to parent", it was casting Lynne in the light of a super mom, now they are changing their story and saying the book is a "warning". Well, it wasn't described like that until poor Jamie Lynn's pregnancy was made public.. And why am I calling the girl "poor'? Well, she's got a tough row to hoe in her future, becoming a mother at 16 or barely 17, even with money, if she's going to be a good mother she's going to have to give up a lot of the pleasures of a girl her age, and the bottom line is, Lynne Spears almost guaranteed her daughter's pregnancy by allowing her to live with that boy.

50. When concerned of the behaviors of one less than fortunate another; another might challenge participation in the season that causes people to have meaningful religious gatherings and wonder why we are so separated from one another.
