Janine has a book coming out in March about single mothers, called "Holding Her Head High," and recently released a Christian yoga DVD -- in which she recites Biblical scriptures for 60 minutes. Lawd have mercy!

She had plastic surgery a few years ago and destroyed her great looks. I remember seeing her in the Sylvester Stallone "Cliffhanger" movie. She was so breathtakingly beautiful. Then she had to go and be an idiot. By the way, the first scene in that movie is fantastic!

I don't think she was pretty even when she was younger!
When she did the Restasis ad, I figured she wasn't getting any work. Also, she wears WAY too much makeup. Rule of thumb--emphasize the lips OR the eyes, not both. Get a new 'do. Update your makeup palette.

I think her make-up artist and stylist need to work on a different look for her. She is only forty-five and the haircut, clothing, and make up make her look older than her years. The make-up needs to be more natural looking and less heavy. I think if she wore more pinks and browns and the lips were a bit more of a sheer color and less penciled in we would see the beautiful woman we have always know. She has great skin and very pretty eyes still, she was just caught off guard in this photo. I hope the hair is just a wig or is something she is sporting just for a film and not a permanent change. Brunette is definitely the best color for her hair and it would be lovely paired with a cut that is a more soft and flowing and less structured. I still like her as an actress though, and have fond memories of the whole Northern Exposure cast. I miss that show. I sure wish they would make another great show like that, witty, intelligent, and funny all at the same time and a show you didn't mind your kids seeing with you.

I always thought Janine was very pretty and poised. But the latest photo of her is not good. It is not that she looks bad or horrendous--it is she just unnatural. Her hair color and cut are unflattering, she must stick with brown color, her eye expression is permanently surprised. Red lipstick would look better with darker hair. Looks like she had less than professional eye lift and botox shots.
