"Idol's" Chris Sligh: Party Like a Not Star

Can't make it to Vegas or Miami to party on New Years with real celebs? Then how about a fun-filled night in Westerly, Rhode Island -- with one of your favorite "American Idol" wannabeens of yore?!
Chris Sligh
Season Six's curly-haired 29-year-old, Sideshow Bob Chris Sligh, will "headline" the alcohol-free First Night Westerly celebration, by singing at least one song at the local Y-M-C-A! Finally, an event safe for Jessica Sierra! As if Sligh weren't enough entertainment for one night, the party will also feature face painting, mimes and a karate demo. Everything in moderation, people.

Tickets cost $10 before December 25, but jump up to a whopping $14 after Christmas. It may not be the opening of an outlet mall, housing development or local balloon festival, but it's still a bargain!

16. Geez, Harv. Do you and your crew have to be so snarky about a First Night Celebration? And so what if Chris Sligh is the headliner. Does everyone have to be playing an arena to be considered successful in the biz?

20. It takes a lot of class and a towering intellect to mock an individual for simply not being on the "A" list, doesn't it, TMZ? Then again, consider the full spectrum of entertainment out there--Broadway, major motion pictures, the symphony, ballet, concerts. In the grand scheme, what list do you think TMZ is on? It's a big alphabet...

26. Hey...TMZ actually noticed me! How awesome.

Hey, I'm making a Christian album, so playing Christian events will inevitably ensue. I guess it's better than getting arrested like other 10th place finishers. But I reckon for TMZ to really respect me, I need to go out and get drunk, drive and get arrested.

I love TMZ.

27. Chris Sligh is a talented guy, and there's nothing wrong with going to First Night and THEN going to Dylan's or somewhere else to have cocktails!
I just might go!
I'll be at Dylan's AFTER Chris Sligh. Or somewhere else.
