49. Everyone that is saying that these girls are whores and white trash etc should stop for a second and take a look at the world around us. I was shocked when I read yesterday that JL was pregnant but the fact of the matter is she is just one of the thousands (millions?) of teenage girls that become pregnant every year. At least the girl has support system and enough money to support a child even though she is only 16--I would lay money down now that she won't leave that baby in a dumpster or in a bathroom stall like so many other teenage girls that don't know what to do.
I have a 19 year old sister and if she broke the news to the family tomorrow that she is pregnant we would all be disappointed and shocked but that does not mean that I would not buy her baby gifts when she gave birth. Everything Britney does is under the microscope, the woman can't even go buy a gift basket without the sales person leaking the news. She was just doing what families are supposed to do though, its a sign of support not a sign of "I approve." And the tank is cute...maybe not altogether appropriate but I can see the humor.

53. My point "wtf??" is that given Britney's constant displays of poor judgment her little sister should take such an outlandish and inappropriate display of "support" as a sign that what she's done is nothing to be proud of.

I'm not freakin' Amish and I'm not suggesting that Jamie Lynn go into hiding and curl into a ball of shame. What I WOULD suggest is that she realize the consequences of her actions and use her experience as an opportunity to educate the young girls who look up to her on the dangers of unprotected/teenage sex.

55. You guys need to stop being so idiotic. Pre-marital sex happens, and happens often. It doesn't only happen in the the backwoods of Louisiana, it happens in Maine, North Dakota, NY, ect. Sex is fun, and good, and keeps you healthy if you have it once a week. I haven't read the article. Maybe she was on birth control, maybe she wasn't. Maybe they used condoms, maybe they didn't.
