Duff Sisters vs. Photogs -- Nuclear Confrontation

Hilary & Haylie Duff were in a confrontation for the ages with photogs from the FOX affiliate in Houston today after a hearing in their parents' divorce case in Houston, Texas -- the video is truly unbelievable!

The two clearly did not want to talk about it -- their security gave the photogs a beatdown instead of an interview as they fled the scene, hiding their faces and swearing along the way.

We're told in the divorce hearing, the judge ordered Bob Duff -- aka daddy -- to pay $100,000 in temporary support to Susan -- 20 grand a month for five months. He was also ordered to ante up $150,000 to cover Susan's legal fees.

166. When did the photographers become so rude? Then they act like they are the victims.....give me (and celbs) a break. I think that there are some celebrities that feed off from this kind of attention *coughbrittnaycough* but what did Haylie and Hilary do but support their parents? Come on now.....leave them alone. Have respect. And for those who say that if they dont want the publicity stay home, what the heck are they supposed to do when they HAVE to go out in public?

167. I'm a professional photographer, and the actions of the photographers and cameramen in the video are embarassing, to say the least. Not only were they incredibly rude, they were poor "shooters". If they wanted face shots, they should have anticipated which exit the subjects would most likely use, and then shoot with telephoto ("long") lenses. And once they got a couple of shots, STOP shooting! Hangng around for a hot shot is what the paparazzi do, not professional photojournalists. Trying to shove past the subjects in the narrow hallway was just asking for trouble. If I was their photo or video editor, they'd all be looking for another job.

168. WTF? They're going to their parents' divorcce hearing. When does being a celebrity mean everything they do is okay to film? It's just wrong.

169. THATS NOT A BEAT DOWN! NO, THE PHOTOGRAPHER DESERVED AN REAL DIRTY KICK IN THE ARSE. It's a divorce proceeding not the red carpet event. Please...can I see the video of a pap getting run over. Now thats worth my time!

170. This is getting ridiculous. It was a DIVORCE hearing for goodness' sake. And what BEAT DOWN? He checked him into the wall to get him away---ouch. I don't think these girls went crazy by any means, they simply tried to steer clear in a very personal situation. Those of you saying "they should stay home if they don't want to be seen" must have some kind of a. paranoid personality disorder b. schizophrenia c. serious social phobia or d. avoidant personality disorder. They were at a divorce hearing, I'd love to see them do that via "distance technology". Geez.

171. Fox should be ashamed of themselves. There needs to be some sort of law against celebs or anyone being hounded by "media" if thats what you want to call this crud. Those girls are going threw something personal right now and frankly I am surprised at how well they handled it, if it were me I would have slugged the photographers.

172. I wouldn't be surprised that if their parents were killed, the paps would be at the funeral shoving cameras into their face saying "come on, cry for the camera... we get more money for grieving shots". Dopes say "they chose this when they became celebrities", but where is the line drawn? Should the press be allowed to follow them into bathroom and film them taking a dump? I'm sure celebrities know that fame means they have to give autographs out on the street or have people come up to them while eating in restaurants, but come on... as human beings don't they get a break for some privacy during a traumatic time in their lives?

173. "The video is truly unbelievable" Who writes these headlines? What was so truly unbelievable about this clip? It was backs, an umbrella, and once in awhile, the back of heads. Wow. I haven't seen anything this exciting in a long time. Go TMZ. Wow. It left me breathless. Please continue to send your reporters (too upscale for this clip) ....um maybe insensitive jerks? Yeah, that works. Please continue to send your insensitive jerks to harass celebrities after a trying day. I'm sure the more trying the day is, the more cooperative they'll be with you.

175. I think if a person doesn't want their picture taken the we all should respect that. How would you feel if you had a people in your face all the time. We all need to remeber that celebs are people to.

176. Hilary and Haylie deserve their privacy. I wish that I was dating Hilary. :(

177. The DUffs, Hiltons, Spears, etc are all rich because of their fame, but (A) that was hardly a beat down - I would have done much worse, (2) a lot of them are just wealthy losers (esp Spears/Hilton) but they are nowhere near the level of the a-holes that follow them around everywhere they go. TMZ & their ilk should be ashamed. They can't even go to their parents' divorce proceedings withouts these chumps harrassing them. And the self-righteousness of the paprazzi ("Did you just curse?") - Yeah, and f**k you and the horse you rode in on you camera-weilding leech POS.

178. This should have been consider stalking. The photogs were going too far. I don't blame the bodyguard for ruffing that guy up.

179. 6. Please, if you don't want anyone in your business, stay the hell at home.
When the hell will the fake little tartletts learn.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!?! They went to the litigation of their parents' divorce....it's not like they were out shopping on Madison Ave or something. Unbelievable.
