Lets Get This Party Started
Jamie Lynn and Baby Daddy -- Ready to Wed?

Jamie Lynn SpearsIs there a shotgun wedding in Jamie Lynn Spears and Casey Aldridge's near future?

Not so fast, if Casey's uncle, Odus Jackson, who TMZ first spoke to on Wednesday night, has it right. They're hardly ready to "sit down and talk to the media ... they haven't gotten their heads together yet," much less get hitched. Uncle Odus, who's become a de facto mouthpiece for Casey, also tells People he hopes they won't make "another mistake," by getting married.

Meanwhile, Nick is reportedly thinking of turning Jamie Lynn's preggerishness into a very special special about teen pregnancy.

Jessica Alba Also Not Shotgunning

Jessica AlbaSpeaking of expectant couples who won't be getting married ... Jessica Alba and Cash Warren aren't in any imminent danger of walking down the aisle.

And, according to Us, that's because Jessica "doesn't want to be pregnant in a dress!" Still, as a mag source points out, "She wanted to get married, but Cash wasn't ready," just before she broke up with the world's luckiest man back in August.

Jessica announced just last week that she's expecting sometime later in the spring.

Party Favors: Spade Drops $100K for Pitt's Pet Charity ... Imagine a Teen Starlet Who Doesn't Booze? ... Jacko Shopping Around for Quick-Cash Gig

A source tells TMZ that comic-Koi-fanatic David Spade gave an astounding $100,000 to Brad Pitt's charity, Make It Right, which is helping to build housing for Katrina-displaced New Orleans residents. Pitt told the "Today" show this morning that Make It Right is "working" in the still-ravaged Lower Ninth Ward. ... Actress Amanda Bynes, as MomLogic reports, could teach the LiLos and Brits something about how to deal -- namely, not drinking, which she says she doesn't. ... Vegas Confidential says that Michael Jackson is looking to host a party at a nightclub in Sin City, and he's asking for $100,000 for a couple hours of work.

46. "So many good grils out there and we pick trash like this to be role models to our young teens"

Why cant you be the role model???? Instead you let a FICTIONAL TV CHARACTER be your kids role model? Know what ... thats sad. You can ban the show all you want, your kid will go to his friends house and watch tv there! You really dont have that kind of power unless your going to lock the kid up until its 18.

51. Geewilli--you're actually quite wrong. Parents do not have to file charges on behalf of the minor for the state to charge someone with an underage sex crime. That's just the way it usually happens because the parents are the first to know about it. The charges aren't "the victim vs. the attacker", it's "the STATE vs. the attacker", so the state can decide to do whatever they want. And once the District Attorney gets involved, sometimes the parents' or victim's opinions don't matter at all.
I know of someone in a similar situation where the girl told her parents, called the police, later recanted and claimed that it was consensual--and her oncetime boyfriend is *still* facing years in prison b/c he was over 21 and she was under 17. In the eyes of the law, a crime against a child is a crime against a child, legally.

52. Casey should not be charged. As he is from a small town, I don't think he ever dreamed something like this could happen. But I do think Jamie knew what she was doing. What I think is more important here is that the media should not validate her pregnancy that it is something cool so that Jamie gets lots of paid endorsements. I also think Nick should pull the plug on her show. We as parents work very hard to make sure things like this don't happen. Although a lot of parents don't talk to their kids, I think Nick keeping the show would validate to the young viewers that teen pregnancies are exceptable. And of course, they would profit. The problem with the Spears clan is that any attention is good, even bad...just as long as they get money from it. I hoped Jamie Lynn was different, but she's not. If we don't watch their shows, buy their products, and magazines, hopefully they will quietly go away. We have a lot of good people in the entertainment business that we can support who are good role models.

55. #44... in Louisiana that is the way is goes. The only way that a govt agency or hospital can be involved if the girl is 4 years younger than the boy. It is the parents of the minor child that must push for the charges if they fall under the 3 year mark. Now if your friends parents called the police they opened pandoras box and maybe the officer and Da felt they had enough to prosecute, If that girl testifys then yeah they will use her against him, if she doesnt testify they have to prove it. Was this the same state or another? I personally know a couple from Shreveport, La where a judge gave a boy the choice to either join the military or go to jail he chose the army ((this was after her parents told him to stay away and they conituned the relationship behind the parents back) she was 17 he was 18, 10 months later the DAY she turned 18, she left and married him and guess what.. she has nothing to do with her parents and they do not know her 2 year old child. they have not seen their daughter for 3 years, shes happily married and they are stationed overseas now. Why because the parents wanted to hurt the boy. They didnt think he was good enough for their daughter and when he turned 18 they filed the first restraining order to keep him away. She hated her parents for it. If they could do it over again, yeah they would have done so, the loss was too big for them. Its a sad situation for all. So charging the kid Casey will cause nothing but further problems down the road.

no dylanspeak. it depends which state your in. each one has different laws depending on the ages of minors. it becomes "STATE vs. the attacker" if the attacker is an ADULT of 21 years of age or older and the victim is under 18. and it also changes depending on the age difference between the 2. the reason he is still in prision is because he was 4 years older than she was. if they had only been a year or 2 apart it wouldve been a different punishment. less time, or w.e

58. i appluad jamie lynn for taking resonbility fo action.most kids the days are very sexual active so to blame her is stupid. at least she knpws what she did and is taking resposibility. it deosnt matter that sheis britneys little sister, or thatshe was star. what would be worse is that she got an abortion, then what would she e saying. nickolodeon is smart for making a show about this. kids need to know that if they are going to have sex they need to use protection. there are no such thing as innocent role models and if you believe that then you are pahetic. who knows what kids are doing these days. they are getting freakier at a younger age an it is about time someone adress the serious of the growing problem. good job nickolodeon

59. and personally i DONT think we should get off her back. shes in the media. little girls are watching her show daily and whether or not they should be looking up to her as a role model they do anyways. if she didnt want to be a role model then why go into that business at all? these girls try to be like celebrities in the media in every way. they try to dress like them, style their hair, put make up on, even say the same things as them. if theyre looking up to her, and shes pregnant at the age of 16, what kind of impression does that put on them? that its okay to be having sex so young? that just because she decided to keep her baby and not have an abortion that makes everything alright? no. if she really was the "good little church going girl" that she claims to be then she wouldnt even be THINKING about having sex. let alone end up in this situation. shes proud because this is her way of showing that she's all grown up, that shes a mature adult? by getting knocked up and deciding to keep her baby? if she were really a mature adult, then she would have waited to have sex. or ATLEAST protected herself better. she doesnt even know how to wipe her own ass and here she is thinking about sex. she is a slut. because NOT all 16 years olds are out there having crazy wild sex like some say. when i was 16 i knew PLENTY of girls who knew how to keep their legs closed. im 19 now, so the "times" couldnt have changed ALL that much. yes. many young girls are out their whoring themselves around for attention. but thats exactly what they are. whores. and if their parents dont care enough to discipline them then theyre all going to end up just like their "role model" pregnant and proud of it at the age of 16. Nickelodeon should fire her ass before she influences anymore young girls. [what was she even doing on there to begin with?]
