Being a photog in New York is a constant hunt -- and one lensman decided he needed extra camouflage to stalk his precious prey.


And who was that wascally wabbit? None other than Wegis -- ahem, Regis -- Philbin, who was just sitting at a restaurant across the street from his house when this shooter went all commando for his shot.

The best part? We found a box of McDonald's inside the makeshift blind. Gotta get them calories somewhere!

Shy can't TMZ install some sort of spam button on the comment page? I don't want a bunch of spyware people on this site! I want to read about creepy paps in boxes getting picked up by trash trucks!

I would love to see citizens who are being pursued by the paps turn around and take pictures of the paps, get their names, find out where the paps live, find out what their kids' names are and where they go to school, and show up to take pictures of the paps and see how they like being stalked. Then publish the photos of the paps homes, kids, schools, wives, etc. on personal websites.
