Eva and Tony -- Big Presence, Small Town

Eva Longoria and Tony Parker recently quelled rumors of Tony's purported cheating -- by suing the crap out of X17. Now the litigious lovebirds have headed to McAllen, Texas to spend some holiday time with Eva's family.

A simple meal at local restaurant Lansky and Bratt's was enough to land the power couple in the local newspaper -- but sources say the sexy duo enjoyed their meal without being bothered -- no pesky posing for photos or signing autographs.

There are no paps in McAllen ... yet!

17. Here in So. Oregon we have a number of celebrities; we pride ourselves in leaving them alone both at their homes and when they are in public.

Patrick Duffy lives about 30 minutes from my place.

Ginger Rogers lived on the Rogue River (outside my door) for over 50 years on a ranch.

Annette O'Toole was an Ashland, OR resident.

Kim Novak lives about 30 minutes from my place.

Clark Gable came to Oregon often to a motel called the WeAskUInn which is about two miles from where I live on the Rogue River. It looks just the same as it did when he came here in the 30's, 40's until his death. Right after Gable's wife Carole Lombard was killed in a plane accident, Gable came to the Inn for a month to deal with her death.

Gable's first wife Josephine (11 yrs his senior) was from Silverton, Oregon where he met her.

Kirstie Alley lived on a ranch about 20 minutes from my mom's in Jacksonville, Oregon.

18. Maybe X17 is finding they are going, and have gone too far and are finding out the hard way! It's about time for X17!

20. Eva is not from the valley. She is from the Corpus Christi area. I know her Grandmother lives in the valley tho as she pointed Eva out on the Ford dealership TV lobby, telling me that is her granddaughter. As if I gave a rat's ass.

22. Thanks for linking our story.

However, McAllen is hardly a small town...roughly 100,000 population.

TMZ still reigns supreme!!!

26. We love Eva down here in McAllen (her grandmother lives down here not Eva! The Spurs and Tony Parker may as well be from here as well! The Spurs are HUGE down here.

You CANNOT get a "simple meal" at Lansky & Brats though... its an expensive restaurant with fancy foods and spirits. http://www.lanskysandbrats.com/ Great place, very pricey. But I can understand why they had their party there. Its a nice, quiet, private restaurant.

For #5 above (idiot), McAllen is NOT like living in Mexico. McAllen is one of the top 3 fastest growing areas in the U.S. Probably more million dollar homes per capita than elsewhere in Texas. Most of the major retailers in the country have stores here with 28 out of 50 of the top retailers having their #1 store in McAllen (in sales volume).

27. WE LOVE YOU EVA!!!

McAllen is NOT a small city. 140,000 people just in McAllen. Add to that the cities surrounding McAllen at its borders, and you're talking 700,000 people within 25 mile radius. Add to that Reynosa (5 miles south across the Rio Grande River) and you're talking 1.5 MILLION people!

By the way, Lansky and Brats is a fancy restaurant, not a "simple meal" kind of place to eat.
