WWE: A Very Iraqi Christmas

Nothing says Christmas cheer quite like -- a few leather-clad hotties and some sweaty wrestlers!

The WWE Superstars and a couple of Divas traveled to Iraq to entertain the troops, even setting up a wrestling ring for a match at Camp Speicher.

Vince McMahon, John Cena and Chris Jericho all made the trip -- sporting fatigues. The Divas, however, had a little trouble following the camouflage guidelines. You can see all the wacky punches on USA this Christmas Eve.

33. For those of you who don't know, WWE has gone over to Iraq for years now around Christmas to raise the spirits of the troops. As much flack as WWE gets, they do some good for a lot of people and it's a pleasent change to finally see it being reported.

Posted at 1:11PM on Dec 24th 2007 by WWE does it right.

34. HAVE A GREAT HOLIDAY!! Try to do no harm, and may your GOD, keep you safe from harm, so you can retrun to your families.

36. This is my favorite show of the year. We get to see the troops smiling in Iraq. A lot of people here saying the troops are the "real celebrities" -- OF COURSE THEY ARE. And the WWE wrestlers say it everytime. The WWE does something nice every year and no one can give them a little kudos.

38. The Stars of the WWE were supposed to visit LSA Anaconda for a meet and greet...Anaconda is where they did the show last year. Anaconda is at Balad, Iraq but they got stuck in Kuwait. My Hubby was disappointed not to be able to see them after not being able to see Carlos Mencia (there were too many people) but I have to give props to those brave entertainers who take time to go spread cheer to our troops. Even if you don't agree with the war, you need to remember that some of us don't have the luxary of spending Christmas with our loved ones. God Bless our troops, their families and those who truly support them
Merry Christmas!!!

39. My husband saw them the last two years when they came for Christmas. It may not seem like a lot to some people but it sure did put a smile on his face and gave him something to talk about when he called home on Christmas. I'm glad to see that people are trying to help the morale because at times it can get pretty low. I do wish more people would put their feelings aside and hop a plane over there for the sake of the soldiers and their families.

Quick shoutout to the 101st...saw their unit patch in the pics. Stay safe and come back home to us here at Ft. Campbell.

41. this is there 5th year going to iraq and putting on a show for the troops.
all those who go on wwe's part are 100% voluntary
they actually spend 5-6 days in iraq riding with the troops and taking videos to send to soilders family
its one of those rare cases where people are doing more then just saying they support the troops..that company flys out there and brings the troops presents and free shows as well as a form of contact with loved ones

god bless the troops and all those who do what they can to help there time in battle be even slightly less of a drag then it is

44. I skipped all the wrestling crap. I just wanted to see our men and women at work. Lots of great things are going on that we never see and at least the WWE and USA have the balls to show us without any b.s opinions.
