Rebecca De Mornay Charged with DUI

"Risky Business" beauty Rebecca De Mornay was charged today by the L.A District Attorney's office with two counts of misdemeanor driving under the influence, stemming from her October 30 arrest. See, driving under the influence isn't just for the youngsters!

Cops pulled over the 48-year-old actress on Sunset Blvd. on the night before Halloween. During the stop, cops told TMZ they "immediately detected an odor of alcoholic beverages." They told us De Mornay was asked to perform several field sobriety tests, which she failed.

Police say her blood alcohol level was .09, just over the legal limit. She was cited and released from the Beverly Hills police station.

De Mornay will be arraigned on December 31, but she does not have to appear.

62. First of all, to rough daddy, 48 isn't old anymore, like it use to be, I hear that's the new 30's, and secondly, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, to each his own.

Thirdly drunk driving is not done only by youngsters, it's done by all types of stupid people, race,color and creed.

The sad part of all you suckers comments about getting a cab is that 10 times the deaths and accidents in the United States (this is a fact) are caused by people speeding versus driving under the influence. I can assure you all that 100 percent of you speed. Go figure. Its easy to ridicule, but not easy to accept your own failures.

69. First off, celebrities will get off minimally whereas the average public gets hit with no mercy the first time around. When you got money, pays to get off scott free. No sympathies from me. Pay the price if you choose to do the crime. Rich or poor don't matter to me.

70. It's EXTREMELY easy to do. I know two people who got picked up for DUI based on other reasons for a stop. If you have one drink, you are over the limit. You don't have to feel it at all. The one hour rule is approximate, as well. For an individual person, the required time may be closer to an hour and a half. If you've had any alcohol AT ALL, wait at least 2 hours. And the Designated Driver cannot drink AT ALL.

74. NOT SUPRISED! TIS THE SEASON! ITS TWO COUNTS BECAUSE A PERSON IS CHARGED WITH 23152(A) CVC, DUI, AND THE SECOND COUNT IS 23152(B) CVC, WITH A BLOOD ALCOHOL LIMIT OF .08 OR MORE.
