He might be a rabble-rouser of the first order, but when Rev. Al Sharpton gets his morning joe, he's all peace and love, man.


TMZ spotted the Rev. getting revved up with a little Starbucks on the Upper West Side, and when he flashed a genuine peace sign at the bidding of one photog, he took pains to make sure it was interpreted properly: "Don't say it was a gang sign," he cautioned.

Let's see: Starbucks + Upper West Side + Al Sharpton? Not adding up to gang territory, exactly.

Nice try. I am legal and I love and respect this country more than half the douchebags that were born here - black & white combined! I am educated and my family never had to receive welfare or any other government assistance, which is more than I can say for Al's constituents. Are you perhaps one of those?

39. Ugh... I hate this man. He's a complete moron, a total windbag. He doesn't give a damn about any of the causes he pretends to champion. The topper for me was when he was on the Dr. Phil show in November I think, or maybe October... anyway, he was there with some other guests talking about the "Jena 6" and he kept saying this one stupid phrase when asked how he felt about it. "I feel like two wrongs don't make a civil right!" ?!?!?! That's the dumbest thing I've heard out of his loud mouth yet! He kept saying it, too, like four times. "Two wrongs don't make a civil right!" I wanted so badly for him to explain that comment, but he can't, because it made no sense and didn't apply to the situation they were discussing! He's not the only self-serving idiot that tries WAY too hard to come across as clever, but I had to say that at least once.

40. Al has some of America's ear, like it or not, and likes to use that platform, and thus has a great responsibility to inspire with constructive and forward moving positive messages. As a senior spokesman, I truly wish he would focus on empowerment and taking responsibility and being accountable, rather than honing in constantly on victimization. That alone would bring a people down. There's a step beyond that that he could propel and enable blacks to before he greets the great beyond.
I think Sharpton is an amazing man, but whines and rails a lot, whereas the great Martin Luther King inspired.

I don't care what color Al Sharpton is, white, black, green, yellow..the man is a blood sucking, trouble maker enjoying his money by doing nothing/riding the gravy train by using his big mouth to keep unrest between blacks with whites. Why doesn't he just go to the unemployment office and draw a check from them also...the only blacks that listen to him are those who blame everything on their life failures to the fact they are black..that logic is called CRUTCHES..Just like those white, black, green or yellow blame their hideous crimes on their parents and their childhood!! These blacks have more opportunities than many whites..and Sharpton only feeds this mentaility by assuring them that is is the white folk fault they are in the position they are in..
