If this story was about a "regular" person, we would be reading a lot of comments about how we need to forgive her...but since she's famous it seems automatic to say that her lawyer is " blaming the dead". The fact is the woman was at fault,its unfortunate that she didnt make it but its still a fact. We shouldnt condem brandy because she sought the truth...she claimed her innocence from the beginning. its easy to forget that celebrities are people too...and they deserve justice like everyone else.

68. Did anyone not read about the "dead woman" having drugs in her system at the time of the accident? How is that letting Brandy off? She didn't do anything wrong. 70. If Brandy was a normal person, charges would have been brought against her and she would have already been in jail, but since she is a celebrity, obviously the laws do not apply to her. Just because the woman rear ended another car before Brandy hit her should not clear Brandy. The death is still her fault for not controlling her speed to prevent the accident.

If it would have been anyone else in the world that didn't have money they would be serving the rest of their life or even executed. 72. Brandy has NOT been determined not at fault. The DA simply decided there is not enough evidence to prove that she caused the woman's death. The fact is that Brandy rear-ended the woman's car and is at fault for doing so. And she refuses to apologize for doing so, because her sleazy lawyer has warned her that such an apology could be construed as an admission of guilt on her part. Well the lawyer gets paid, Brandy gets paid, and some kids get Christmas without their mom. Just another day of sleaze and injustice in lalaland. I hope there's a special hell for sleazy lawyers.

What happened to "innocent until proven guilty"? Well she is innocent. Leave her alone. 74. Doesn't the fact remain that she was driving too fast and hit the car in front of her? To say she did NOTHING wrong is bogus, all they can really claim is that she was not the SOLE cause of the woman's death. Both her and the woman herself are to blame.
