Britney Spears -- Like a Virgin

Britney and her usual bevy of photogs moseyed over to the Virgin Megastore on Sunset Blvd. last night -- and grabbed a bag full of discounted merch from the soon-to-be-defunct music emporium. Them CDs are on sale, y'all!

The deviant diva kept the drama to a minimum -- but even a trip to a CD store can be chaotic when you're the queen of pop crazazyness. Virgin announced they will be closing the landmark store next month, when it will be back to Target for Brit Brit.

62. Maybe she likes running her own errards, etc. I don't see why she doesn't get a driver too. More celebs get into trouble with the law by driving.

63. I agree with Diane T 100%. It's obvious Brit is mentally ill judging from her erratic and off the chart behavior. But in my opinion, what is so much worse and absolutely unforgettable is how she puts the lives of her children in danger when she gets behind the wheel her car. This didn't just happen once, but over and over, and dear God, let me be wrong, but I have a gut feeling that one of her children will not live long enough to see kindergarten. We have seen her almost drop Sean on pavement. The paps didn't help matters, but what conscientious mother carries her baby with just one arm, a drink in the other and wearing platform, platform shoes. No mother I know that's for sure. Also let's not forget poor Sean falling out of his high chair.

Before anyone tells me I must be the perfect mother, let me tell you that when it came to my three children when they were babies, they were never dropped, never fell from anything higher than their feet and never saw the inside of an emergency room for stitches, poison or burns. Therefore, I feel I belong in the tower of judgment.

66. #60-I'm listening. Smarmy and sarcstic is not necessary. My point, I thought, was pretty simple-that young woman is sick and needs help. Maybe the people who were willing to prostitute her years ago for financial gain should be at her side during her time of crisis-specifically her family. But they're not-she's of no use to them anymore.

Maybe she is, in your words, a BAD MOTHER....but isn't it possible that she's a mother in need of help and support and is in such a psychological funk and depression that she doesn't even get it? And to call her a whore-it doesn't even deserve a response

Excuse me for tryng to be humane and viewing this situation with some sense of perspective.
