Comedian Dane Cook used MySpace to garner millions of techno-savvy fans across the country -- but unfortunately recruited a legion of Dane-haters in the process. TMZ ran into the love-him-or-hate-him funnyman outside the Laugh Factory last night -- where he was kidding around with the Dane devotees.


Dane cracked jokes and messed with photo-needy fans -- and at one point pulled a fake diva moment about an autograph seeker's pen, saying, "Where the f**k is the blue, man? Dane Cook signs with blue."

17. dane's conversational comedy style is very engaging, but it's the way he moves .. like a sexy animal on the prowl... that makes him especially appealing.

21. 15 Minutes? No, more like 15 years & counting.. If he's such a bad comedian why do almost every one of his shows end up being sold out? Interesting you should say he's not funny - cause that's not what his 2 million myspace friends think so.

22. If you think that Dane Cook sucks then I suggest you check out the movie 'Mr. Brooks'.

When I saw that film I had no idea who Dane Cook was... I now know who he is and I don't think he's that funny - however in 'Mr.Brooks' he shows that what he lacks as a comic he makes up for with acting skill.

Now I know some of you will point out the crappy comedies he's made and good for you, but since that is him attempting to be funny (which as I've pointed out, I do not find him to be) those films don't factor into my comment.

Acting along with Kevin Costner and William Hurt, Cook does hold his own.
Really.
I know... This is hard to believe... Just check out the film and you'll see.

23. Dane Cook's stand up is so real & raw - he's such a gifted storyteller & killed when I saw him @the Honda Ctr. The guys who accuse him of being unfunny are inadequate losers who can't get laid, and the chicks don't get sarcasm. Stick with Peanut - that's about your level.
