Celebrity Pay Dirt
Wanna Get a Piece of Michael Vick's Doghouse?

Now here's a listing that's going to burn up the market -- the house where Michael Vick let dogs kill each other for amusement -- is up for sale for a cool $1.1 million. Arf!

The infamous dog house didn't sell during a recent auction -- shocking, we know -- so developer Wilbur Ray Todd, Jr. has put it on the market. The spread, in case you were wondering, is a 15-acre compound with five bedrooms, four and a half bathrooms, two fireplaces, cathedral ceilings -- and no doghouses of any kind! If they can't sell it, maybe they can leash it.

Mr. Ed beware: The listing notes that the property allows horses.

Vick's home these days is a prison cell in Warsaw, Va., where he's serving a 23-month sentence for dogfighting conspiracy.

19. Because I say Vick should be man-raped, my comment gets pulled. We get it TMZ, you LOVE Vick and condone what he did!

20. i thought there'd be no way for him to play Pro Football again but as we were discussing it some of the announcers started talking about him coming back after he's out. others talked about his lack of training during his incarceration though and did'nt think it could be possible. it sure did sound to me like someone has it in mind and thinks it IS POSSIBLE. i just don't see how advertisers would get around the irreparable damage to his image. i was shocked that anyone even considered it but i'm really not surprised.

21. WHO OWNS THE HOUSE RIGHT NOW, DOES ANYBODY KNOW????

Posted at 8:16PM on Dec 31st 2007 by I HEARD IT ALL NOW!!!

22. I read that VIck sold it to a real estate guy for $450,000 and the biggest bid the man got for the house was something like $750,000 but the real estate dude wouldn't sell it for that much because he thinks its worth a lot more and he can a lot more.

Good luck with that, dude. I can't imagine ever living in a house or on a property with that history. No way, no how.

======================================================================================

A man named Wilbur Ray Todd Jr bought the house for $450,000 and the best offer he got was $ 747,000

Mr. Todd turned down the offer because he thinks he should get at least over a 1 million for the property but nobody has shown enough interest in it to ante up the $1 million he is insisting on getting.

You can google the story behind it, in my opinion-- Mr Todd is being greedy... He was going to profit almost $300,000 from the deal. Barely anyone has shown interest in the property and he will be lucky to find someone who will pay $750,000 again.

24. Wow, $1.1 million for views of an above the ground pool, propane tank, and those lovely shacks just down that spiffy dirt road! I can't imagine why no one wanted it?!?!

25. To #14 [itsonlyadog]: Your name speaks volumes. First, it was many dogs; Vick supported a dog-fighting ring. Second, "only" is meaningless; dogs have a nervous system and feel pain. Third, people being higher on the chain means we have a responsibility to those lower on the chain; that is the definition of being humane.

Michael Vick is trash. Set for for life with millions of dollars, he still chose to promote innocent animals maiming and killing each other, and killing the ones who did not maim and kill enough. He deserves twenty-three years, not months, in prison. To any team that signs him in future--and any advertisers for their games--prepare for a boycott. We will not forget this monster.

26. 26. I hope Vick gets drunk on prison wine tonight and get's his cherry popped over and over.

Then hopefully tomorrow when he is hungover with a sore butthole someone will stick him with a shank and he can get lockjaw. But tonight, no lockjaw... he will need an open mouth. ;)

I don't know if you remember the RAPE STAND that Vick used on his dogs to force them to breed and make babies. I saw a picture of the rape stand and it still haunts me. How barbaric to force dogs to rape one another.

Anyway, your comment made me think of the RAPE STAND and how if he gets his "cherry popped" while in the clink...it would be divine retribution.

Too bad a rape stand wasn't set up in the prison he's at, so he could go through the same barbaric activities he forced those dogs into.

27. 27. I don't think black people should own dogs. They don't seem to be able to handle the responsibility that comes with owning pets. Ving Rhames' dogs killed one of his own employees. There are many examples of rappers mistreating animals. It's not Vick's fault, he can't help himself, it's society's for being so permissive with the black population.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I dont think hicks should own dogs .The excuse that its a racial thing I dont agree with .M. Vick is a hick ,as is anyone who still believes Dog Fighting ,Rooster Fighting and many other sorts of "Blood Sports" are OKAY .Thats more a ass backwards way of thinking .Only people with no concience would believe it is "Sporting" .So it is M.Vicks fault ,to say otherwise is excusing it and condoning a persons behavior .He could help it ,He choose not to !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Posted at 8:50PM on Dec 31st 2007 by I think it more a hick thing ,than a racial one !
28. i think that they should donate the house to a disabled marine that has served in iraq...
29. To Itsonlyadog. I am amazed how people can say this. They feel the pain you do, they are loyal. I can't believe people.
I will never trust anyone that cannot be kind to the least of us. If you cannot feel sympathy for an innocent tortured animal, then I don't think you can feel sympathy for anyone but yourself. God gave made us stewards of the animals, but that does not mean they should be treated cruelly or tortured for mans amusement. Anyone that can condone the torture of a dog would condone torture of anyone. I am so disappointed in Michael Vick. I do hope he sees the error of his ways. He does deserve another chance, but first he has to see that what he did was absolutely wrong.
30. Vick's house is for the dogs. Anyone who buys it should burn it down. You got the money, buy the house and be sure you live in it along with the dead dogs buried everywhere. I don't know of anyone who would give a penny for the house if they had to live in it where Vick and his gangsters must have put on a pretty nasty show in all the room. God help the sad nut who bought the house hoping he could make a couple hundred thousand in selling it. It's just a dog house now and a lonely one at that.
