Celebrity Pay Dirt
Wanna Get a Piece of Michael Vick's Doghouse?

Now here's a listing that's going to burn up the market -- the house where Michael Vick let dogs kill each other for amusement -- is up for sale for a cool $1.1 million. Arf!

The infamous dog house didn't sell during a recent auction -- shocking, we know -- so developer Wilbur Ray Todd, Jr. has put it on the market. The spread, in case you were wondering, is a 15-acre compound with five bedrooms, four and a half bathrooms, two fireplaces, cathedral ceilings -- and no doghouses of any kind! If they can't sell it, maybe they can leash it.

Mr. Ed beware: The listing notes that the property allows horses.

Vick's home these days is a prison cell in Warsaw, Va., where he's serving a 23-month sentence for dogfighting conspiracy.

76. By your email name it shows your ignorance and lack of compassion with animal abuse. Harmed? How about tortured?? Because far too many humans like yourself put yourselves on the hierarchy of all living things, it will be the demise of us all. Human is only a word, I don't equate this dirtbag in the same context as a compassionate, upstanding mammal. He's a dirtbag that got off cheap for a horrendous crime. Want your daughter/relative to marry him? I mean he just made a bad judgement call. Silly boy that he is!

itsonlyadog wrote-And to those of you who still want to lynch M. Vick over killing dogs - let it go. They didn't deserve to be harmed but you want to do worse to him - he is still a HUMAN BEING - and last time I checked, people trumped animals on the hierarchy of living things chain - so I think that makes all of you much sicker than he is.

77. A life is a life and when you act inhuman you should be treated as such. Convict Vic is still alive and thats a shame. The animals of the world are still our responsibilty so goes it with Vick. he may be behind bars but we are still taking care of his deadbeat A**

78. Let's hope his jail cell mate is an animal lover who hasn't had some lovin' in a long time.

Dog fighting has been made glamourous by these ridiculous hip-hop twits with no brains and even smaller genitals. Any person who gets enjoyment out of something like this is twisted.

The James Byrd Jr. case is proof that those who enjoy abusing animals are capable of much worse. People like Vick need to be locked away for the safety of others.

82. Vick deserves worse punishment then he is getting. And to poster #14, torturing animals is just a stepping stone as to how Vick treats humans. Someone who has so little regard for life that he has to inflict pain and death on a smaller weaker animal has no respect for his fellow humans.
Furthermore he has set the pitbull breed back another decade and made it more diffficult for the p/bull rescues to find homes for these dogs used for fighting.
He's a pig and hopefully he never plays ball again.

84. This house is near where I live. According to the local papers, someone bid $747,000. The seller should have accepted the offer. I doubt he gets a better one. The story also stated the seller renovated the home but kept the dog houses. Who would want to buy a house with dog houses used for dog fighting in the back yard? Not to mention the yard used to contain the remains of dead dogs. The seller was an idiot to try to hold out for a better offer. He should take what he can get and move on before he ends up stuck with the house. It is after all a buyer's market and most buyers aren't going to buy this tainted house.

85. Nice house, but the yard makes it look so country. Big-ole septic tank sitting out in the yard, and nasty fence caving in. I hope he has learned his lesson, and keeps his country-ass relatives/friends far away from him when he gets out.

88. To #14 its only a dog....I don't know what your thinking is but yes you may feel it is only a dog. I don't buy it. Michael Vick got off easy in my opinion. Yes I am glad he is in prison but he surely deserved a hell of a longer sentence than he will ever serve. And this crap that "dog fighting is a cultural thing". Sorry but I have seen whites as well as blacks involved in this heinous business. I cannot imagine why anyone would want to be so cruel to an animal...my husband and I own 2 dogs and yes they may only be dogs to some people but we love them and they are members of our family. Dogs give you unconditional love...just ask any dog owner who is caring and responsible. I do hope that the NFL has sense enough to make sure Vick never plays again...he may not have wanted to be a role model as a pro football player but I believe it goes with the job. Vick had it all..he came up from nothing and managed to have a career that thousands of young boys and men can only dream about. He chose the worst possible way to throw it away, short of murdering a human being. Vick and his cohorts in crime are the worst of cowards and they all deserve the worst sentences. Sorry #14 but it is not just only a dog.

89. As I see it, Jersey had one friend left and he's been taken out of society.
As I see it, some people are walking excuses for always falling short of common sense.
As I see it, hope your friend was wise to invest, he won't play in the NFL again.
As I see it, when you live unethical, you support all that is wrong with this world.
As I see it, walking a straight, yet narrow life is easier than you can think. Even with 2-left feet.
As I see it, call Britney, she's lost here like you. Maybe your 2-brains together can equal one good.
