65. Brad and Steve have both pledged 5M each as matching fund for the Make it Right project.

The project intends to build 150 homes.

For me, I donated two thousand dollars. It’s easy for me just give money. But Brad does put in HIS TIME in addition to his 5 million. And time is money. Therefore, he has my respect.

66. These two will do anything for attention, they use thier kids and charity work for attention. Well guess what it ain't working the majority of people are not ignorant to worship these two fools. As far as the houses he is building NO is known for a style of their own as far as architecture and these houses are way too modern for new orleans. If he cares so much and wasn't such a selfish media whoring man, why couldn't he build homes that are true to there style and culture???? Brad and Ang are Frauds wake up people!!!!

70. A poster said those houses which Brad is going to build is not true New Orlean style, let me say this :--

1) As is with anything, there is always a COST. If you want to build the real New Orlean style + eco green + safety, the COST WILL BE PROHIBITIVE.

2) You try to do the best you can to KEEP THE COST DOWN, while trying to build as MANY as you can, so that MORE PEOPLE WILL BENEFIT.

3) He has put in his TIME , to assemble the BEST MINDS of the architects. If the professional have suggested these, given all these variables, they I feel this is the best for the neighborhood.

4) There is good that come out of these. 1st -- People who were displaced will have a home. 2nd -- there will be jobs created during construction.

Finally, once this neighborhood is put back in place, this can be POTENTIAL tourist spot for tourist, touring the area done with the world's greatest architects. With tourist bus bringing people to the neighborhood, there will be shops springing up to cater to the tourist, souvenir shops, restaurants, etc It's all good for the economy.

We should be greatful that Brad shepherding this project with his precious time.

74. Christ - has it gotten to the point that if a perent lets a child fart in public we need to be notified? This story is so out of line - and most of all - way to minimal to even open for comments. Were they "racing across the fields or streets?" Was Brad jumping huge obstacles with the machine? 75. Brad should just get all of his over paid, very wealthy celebrity friends to invest in the housing project. This project should be set up as an investment, not a charity, as the homes will be sold, not given away. Brad's celebrity friends probably possess half of the money in this country. The top two percent of the wage earners in the US own 98% of the money. They could easily invest a million or five and not even have to sacrifice. The interest these people draw on their large savings must be astronomical. Brad should have put protective gear on the kid. That really is very unsafe. The ATV is open and the child could have fallen out.
