TMZ was in Century City, Calif. as Brit Brit came -- and went -- from her scheduled deposition today. Why the rush?!


As K-Fed's attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan explained, the depo was originally scheduled to go from 9:45 to 11:45 AM. It poses a little bit of a problem when the person who is to be deposed shows up almost two hours late! Kaplan says the proceedings started around 11:32 AM and he was able to fire off a few questions before having to end at the scheduled time -- thirteen minutes later. So much for asking deep questions!

So why was the popwreck so tardy? He wouldn't say. But he did say another depo has been scheduled. As for seeking sanctions against her, Kaplan says he hasn't yet decided. But he might, if her behavior caused his client -- K-Fed -- any undue "hardships." Hasn't she already?

172. she really needs to grow up and take responsibility of what she has made of her life. i wonder if anything that she really cares about really matters to her at all; not even her own dignity! that is almost the same as setting your own kids out in the cold and leaving them there! all BRITNEY fans need to stop being fans and help her by not "being" fans because all her fame and fortune are getting way out of control for her!it is like a addictive drug for her! those babies should be the first thing that comes first in her life and "not trying to show up late or not at all" being a priority for her court dates. i cannot believe that are mothers out there that lose their children everyday to some kind of tragic accident and doesn't even give a crap! we all have our moments and dark days, but when it involves children that didn't even deserve any of this ... it is way wrong! i just feel bad for her for what ever is the real problem and for those babies! how much more heartaches are you going to choose and cause for yourself! 175. I feel for Brit. Everything in her life went to fast. She was in love or lust may it be. Or maybe trying to find stability. She knows she's a mom. Nothing takes away being a mom.
