33. The only way I would have believed this story would have been if Will came to my house and told me it himself...no wait! Even then I would have had enough sense to know that Will was just playing a prank. Will Smith, be he black or white or pink or purple appears to be one hell of a guy! Does he get arrested drunk driving? Does he cheat on his wife with 7 other women? Does he neglect and/or use his children for photo opps every chance he gets? does he..(and here's the big question!) run around without panites flashing his privates every chance he gets? The answer is a big fat resounding...HELL NO!
Will had got to be one of the nicest (not to mention sanest) people in Hollywood today and he and Jada are doing a good job raising their children as normally as possible. And before someone brings up the whole "my daughter is like Paris" bit.
Will did not mean that Willow was like Paris (or Britney) in the whole I am drunk ass slut who will sleep with anything that moves while I am on my way to the police station being booked for my latest DUI kind of way...he meant in the "my daughter is 7 yrs. old and she thinks she is a princess and we have to cater to her every whim or desire" kind of way. Which, for all of you who have never dealt with a 7 yr. old little girl is exactly how they all think and how they should be treated...like a little princess...daddy's little darling!
Will Smith is a great guy! I love him and think he is extremely talented! Who didn't enjoy the Men In Black movies and Independence Day? Who didn't cry while watching "The Pursuit of Happyness"? Who hasn't cracked at least one smile while watching Will cutting up on "The Fresh Prince of Bel Air"? Will Smith...I salute you!!! You are terrific!

36. All I can say is...well,two things...I am SOOO glad Al Sharpton kept is loud, unconvicted- felon, mouth shut on this issue, since he sounds off any other issues that don't oncern him. AndI don't think anyone in their right mind really believed this [as incorrectly reported] came outta Will Smith's mouth.

37. I don't know if Will Smith is a Scientologist or not, as some posters say, and I don't care. At least he hasn't done the Tom Cruise thing and spout off irrationally about it. He seems like a well grounded human being. Color and religion have no bearing on the issue of his being defamed and demeaned in the press over someone misquoting him.

40. I posted after the Wil Smith story and I do believe there was an idea Wil tried to express that was misinterpreted. Nevertheless, it would have been easier to discount the story if Will Smith wasn't hanging around with someone like Tom Cruise whose ideas are "off the charts"..only because of Will's friendship with Tom, did I find it easier to believe he has certain beliefs that are abrasive. Clearly, it seems he was misquoted, but again, I would be careful Will Smith, because your friendship with Tom Cruise makes you a target.

45. TMZ should also apologize. You people ran with the story like you were the JDL. It's amazing how many people bought into this story and attacked the man's character. Now notice, however, that very few people come on this post and apologize like they couldn't wait to bring the man down.

By the way, the man is not a scientologist.
