47. WHERE are the parents of Britney? They should be ASHAMD of themselves. What role models they are (not). Whether or not Britney wants anything to do with them, they SHOULD be there for her.

I am not crazy about Britney, but it is very obvious that she needs some medical intervention, even possibly psychological help.

I can never figure out why people with all the fame and money have to use drugs/booze and destroy their lives. This is very sad. Even more sad for the children.

Kfed is doing what any parent would do trying to save his kids.

If Britney wants to be with her kids she has to get herself in order first. She will not do that until she is forced to or kill's someone or herself first.

52. i bet anything what happened was after the cops were called to help enforce the custody order, britney probably threatened to kill herself if they took the children from her. from reports it sounds like they put her on 72 hr detention which is 5150, which they only do if you are a danger to urself or others, mostly urself. and also for being under the influence possibly, which they would draw blood for, still they couldnt hold u for that long, just long enough to book u and release u. im sure it was a group of lapd supervisors that made that decision, with such a high profile person. i really feel bad for her, but especially the kids, britney's mom is a joke of a parent, so many of those running around that arent celebetries. but the people to blame now are the people around britney, her so called friends, that have been trying to hide her problems from the world, and even from britney herself, most likely so they don't lose the money and status they get from her.

53. I think that this poor girl needs help and that she needs support in her time of need. I mean think about it, if you were mentally instable would you want to be called names and made fun of and having your dirty laundry aired all over the world.. I know I wouldnt, fortunatly we dont have to deal with all of that so we have no idea what she is going through and what her thoughts are and why she is doing what she is doing. So I think as people and human beings we need to respect what she is going through and hope she gets the help she needs. She is human too! As for the children, I dont believe they should be taken away, thats probably all she has to look forward too right now take that away from her and she will never get better. The children need her and she needs them........

55. You people just don't get it do you? Britney has brought this all on herself. The "newspeople" are just reporting on what happens. No one, absolutely no one has made Britney do the things she has done. Everyone feels so sorry for her woes and wants to pray for her or to help her but you are forgetting that for every action there is a reaction. She has created this fiasco and from her smile from inside the ambulance she is LOVING every second of it! Everybody is trying to lay the blame on K-Fed, his lawyers, and the paps but yet they are the ones that have NOT broken any laws or totally disregarded court ordered tests & appointments. Wake up people, Britney needs to be finally held accountable for her actions, which she has freely done without provacation from outside sources.

58. With the Matt Lauer interview she pleaded with the public and the papps in tears to leave her and her family alone.
Her bodyguard used her and lied about her to profit. People are abanding her because the papps have painted a terrible picture of her and they are the ones who started this to begin with as well as k-fed.

She has to give the kids to k-fed now because the public and the papps have made it so unsafe for her to be with them.
The kids could get hurt by the papps in public.

Lets be honest a lot of this she brought upon herself. There is a reason why she surrounds herself with leeches and paparazzi. there is a reason why so many who tried to help her in the past are now out of her life. The reason is Britney. Hopefully now she will see the severity of her issues. Her issues did not begin or end with Kevin Federline. She has had problems for a long, long time
