Britney Wheeled Out on a Gurney!!

OMG THE DRAMA! TMZ is there as Britney Spears was just wheeled out of her home on a gurney by paramedics. Look at that shot of her inside the ambulance -- she's frickin' smiling! Why God, why?!?

Once in the ambulance, paramedics can be seen trying to strap her legs down before taking off.

Britney Spears: Click to watchWe're told Britney is being taken to a local hospital on a "medical hold" -- essentially a mental evaluation. Cops found her earlier this evening at her home under the influence of an "unknown substance."

Cops were called to the popnightmare's home in Beverly Hills this evening, after she reportedly refused to return custody of her two kids to their father's bodyguard. Oh, the insanity of it all!

UPDATE: Britney has arrived at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. We're told as she was brought out of the ambulance, she flipped off the waiting paparazzi. Oh my God. That Britney's shameless!

I'm an R.N. in the L.A. area and am familiar with how CPS works when a mother under the influence of an "unknown substance" or paraphenalia is found near or around her child.If her son did indeed get admitted to the ER with Brit, a forensic nurse (or forensic lab tech) will draw blood from both mother and child with CPS & an L.A. County Sherifr Officer at the bedside.Reason being to 'not break the chain of command' if the blood tests are needed as evidence in the court of law.Remeber, Brit is on 'probation' with CPS.WOW and with her current court orders by the judge that she remain sober while caring for her children!!!!After the blood draw,the nurse will label the tubes of blood, put them in a brown paper bag,seal it and hand it over to the L.A. Sheriff.From there,it is immediately taken to a designated lab for alcohol and drug testing.She can say 'bye-bye' to the boys should her labs come back "dirty".We'll know in less than 24 hours!

755. What the hell. I understand the two paragraph report on her being taken away but the pictures are just unfair. She is mentally ill, but she doesn't need to look rich all the time. She does have the right to express herself. And about her drugs, she can do coke or whatever with the public noting it. In America, it is supposed to be optional to let out your PRIVATE LIFE to the public. Apparently, paparazzi has reenforced that.
