K-Fed's Lawyer Headed to Court

TMZ has learned K-Fed's lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, will scurry to court this morning at 8:30 AM and ask the Commissioner to strip Brit of her visitation rights -- at least for now. We're told there may not be much of an argument and it's almost certain the Commish will see Kaplan's point. Attorney Tara Scott from the law firm of Trope and Trope will represent Brit -- awkward, since the firm has asked to withdraw as counsel.

As we reported, Britney is at Cedars-Sinai on a "5150 hold," meaning there's evidence she's a danger to herself or others -- others as in her kids.

Here's what's interesting. We've been reporting for several months now that Britney doesn't have a drug or alcohol problem -- that her instability is mental, not chemical. Well placed sources tell us what happened last night is not rooted in drugs, and that of late, her mental state has deteriorated to the point that what happened at her home was not unexpected.

61. BRITNEY NEEDS HELP!! The judge needs to order her to be committed to a mental institution to undergo an intense evaluation. She obviously is very disturbed. She should not even be able to see her kid until she's better, maybe this will make her finally get the help she needs. I am a mother myself and I don't know how I could get through the days without my kids, I would do anything to get better for them.

62. I can't believe how cruel people are! This young woman is obviously in need of medical assistance...for the past year or more she has exhibited signs of bi-polar disorder. I believe her denial and withdrawal from family has prevented her getting the care she desperately needs. For my part, I honestly wish her well and hope she can recover her health, sanity and happiness. I am sure she loves her children and for their sakes as well, let's all try to be a little more compassionate.

63. I truly find the entire situation heartbreaking. But the even sadder part is, I think she enjoys it all. If that girl had the tiniest sense of normality, her getting OUT of LA would be the best thing she could've done....I think it's a real tragedy...and her mother should seriously reevaluate her stance and role in the demise of Britney. And now to have Jamie-Lynn pregnant! What the hell is goin on?????? This poor girl is goin to end up dead if someone - the right person- doesn't step in soon and help this girl. At the end of the day, she is still a young woman, who has been in the spotlight since a young girl, and it's affected her life. Look at Michael Jackson - he's a straight up freak-of-nature.....and unfortunaley, Britnney is following dowen that raod, but in her own self-destructive way. Give me a call Brit, I'd be more than happy to help you out!!!!

She is MENTALY ILL :
Possible Schizoaffective disorder is an illness in which there are both severe mood swings (mania and/or depression), and some of the psychotic symptoms of schizophrenia. Most of the time mania or depression mix with psychotic symptoms, but there must be at least one two-week period in which there are only psychotic symptoms without any symptoms of mania or depression. Look it up she has every symptom down to shaving off her hair. It's really sad. I hope for her life she gets better doctors then her choices of husband or some (Mom) family members.

66. She is not incapeable of being a good parent, my husband is bipolar and he is a WONDERFUL father!!! She seriously needs to be evaluated and put on medicine! She didnt do anything purposely in front of her children, things happen, and obviousley she is not over her past with Kevin! You people need to realize that just because she is a celeb, does not mean she doesnt have feelings like you and I do! She has been made out to be such a outcast, that I would even end up like her if I were in her shoes too!!! People/Media need to leave her alone and let her live her life! We all make mistakes and have fallen and had to pick our selves back up! Think about it.......would you want to see this crap about your self ALL over the internet if you were in her shoes?????? Her mother needs to step up to the plate and take some responsiability for all this too, her sister didnt help the situation either!!!!!!!!!!!

69. TMZ has been reporting???? That is the JOKE of the century. All TMZ has done is bash and contribute to the deterioration of Britney Spears. While you may have thought she was never under the influence of drugs or alcohol you kept quiet on that subject and slashed her every move AND tried to sell video's off to KFED's attourney. You cashed in on it this time so you are trying to be sympathetic because now you might possibly realize that this IS A REAL SITUATION and Britney was never in it for the media attention, she NEEDED medical help all along. You sicken me and have just lowered yourself to the rankings of Perez.

That goes to everyone here who cannot realize that this is a sad state, she never 'did this infront of her kids' because she had a choice, YOU are the loser. Why don't read up on mental issues, and then maybe you can understand that when you are not well, there is not a little voice in your head that says what is right or wrong.

71. Britney get the help you need and get to know who you are. I know it may seem like everything is falling apart all around you and you were given a bad deal from the start. Your Mama should be ashamed of herself for being as selfish as she has been all these years your folks made you this way by not caring about your wellbeing and making money off of you then dropping you when things got hard. You have people that care about you and wish the best for you whatever it is you don't have to prove yourself to anyone right now you just need to realize you need to help yourself. Your boys are going to be fine until you get better so just hold on and to the hard work now. Louisiana women are resilient and help each other no matter what or where they are. 74. Bizzare but not unexpected. I don't think anyone on her payroll (including her family) knew how to handle her.
At least as a 51/50 she'll be able to get some kind of evaluation. Up until this point, I kept on watching the vids, reading the stories, and crossing out about every known drug to make sense of what she was on. It's too bad it came to this, but it was a long time comin'.

75. Princess Diana, according to that PENILESS NO-TALENT HACK, during their relationship, Kevin was a great father to their kid as well as the others she had before him. Only difference was that PENILESS NO-TALENT HACK wasn't exhibiting the same strange and dangerous behavior as the "mean ticket". He still spends a great deal of time with the kids he had with the PENILESS NO-TALENT HACK just like he did when he was still married to the "meal ticket". Maybe you need to the get facts before you go off on those ignorant tangents!
