Baby, It Ain't Cold Outside

Sure, her parents may both have played superheroes in the movies, but it's Violet Affleck who's got the truly superhuman powers.

Even as temps plunged to nearly zero degrees, and her mother Jennifer Garner and other members of a stroller flotilla bundled up like sherpas, Violet boldly and blithely exposed her face to the elements and munched on crackers, seemingly oblivious to the cracking winds.

The kid is tough.

16. I agree, it irks me to see some parents totally oblivious to their kids needs - common sense ain't so common these days. Same thing for pet owners who drag their doggies up and down scorching hot or frozen pavement.

19. youre missing the point, moron! thats your solution? "grow up"!! just because youre torpid enough not to think of one!!! doesnt mean someone should write unflattering things to defaced your name!!! they can do all the hate they want,,,but put more wits behind it!!!!!!!!

20. Geez I am worried about the kid in the other stroller with a plastic cover over their face. While it is a great thing to be able to get out and take a walk with your kids in a stroller, why in heaven's name is it so important with the temp below zero? People never cease to amaze me. I would be more worried about the effects of having that plastic guard over the kids face. Autisim is running rampant in this country, and they don't know what causes it. Could be directly related to plastic, so they are saying. All that money and no brains.

24. Oh, it wasn't that bad here in NYC yesterday, it got closer to 40 in the middle of the day. Now, Thursday was a different story - 8 with the wind chill factor. But it definitely warmed up yesterday. TMZ, stop making a mountain out of a molehill.

27. She should be much more bundled up and protected than that.

28. Oh come on. It's not that cold out. If she was cold she would let her mommy know. She's bundled up more than adequately. You haters are too much sometimes, ha ha. Real dumb wits who don't use your brain for what it was meant for - ummmm to "think".

29. "Funny the jerk pushing her has his face down- too bad Violet cant do that." ~Jzz

That's Jennifer Garner pushing the stroller......... sooo smart!

I will say that if it was really 0 out, then a walk may be a bit unnecessary, but at the same time, Violet seems to be enjoying herself... My son isn't even 1 yet, and he will whine and fidget around to let me know if he's cold. Surely she could communicate to her Mom that she was cold if it was bothering her.

Had it been me, she'd have gloves on, but some kids will just rip 'em off--we don't know if that happened or not.

As for the plastic weather cover on the other stroller, it's not like it's right in front of the kid's face.... Geez, some people really need to lighten up.
