Brit Breaks Down While Mom Mourns

1. Lynne did not ensure that Brit received an education.
2. She did not teach her any of the necessary life skills.
3. She paraded her daughter's teenage sexuality for money and when anyone said it was sexy, Lynne said it was
just "sweet".
4. Lynne said when Brit was only 16 , "I'm not worried about her."
5. Lynne said when Brit was spiraling toward rock bottom, "She's just trying to figure things out."
6. Lynne allowed 16 year old Jamie to shack up with her 19 year old boyfriend and put that temptation in front of her child
when Jamie was not mature enough to handle it (and what adult is even that "mature" when it's shoved in their face?)
7. Lynne sold out Jamie's pregnancy to a magazine not much better than a tabloid for $1 million.
8. Lynne has all but ignored the fact that she even has a son. (How do think that makes him feel?)
Any of you who thinks all that makes Lynne a good mother either had a bad mother yourself or you are a bad mother. Those things listed above indicate that even if Lynne is not deliberately a bad mother, she is a terribly stupid, self centered woman and bottom line, she is not a good mother.

Sad situation for the family and my prayers go out to them. I am praying that this does not end in tragedy. I am concerned for Britney's life and hope she has people looking out for her. It is scary to realize she was not on any drugs and that was the real Brit having a mental breakdown in front of the cameras. I wish that people would be kind and understanding of what agony she and her family are going through. Forget that this poor woman has all kinds of riches, mental health is worth so much more. Shame on people (Dr Phil) trying to make a buck of her. I don't blame her father for the Dr Phil fiasco and believe he was duped into it by Dr Phil. He is not an educated man and easy to manipulate. I know that most of you are good people and care about your fellow man, as you would want to be cared for if tragedy should strike, and be kind with your comments.

Poor Lynn! I would still do the impossible to stay at my daughter's side. Britney needs to stop being with the enemy (the paparazzo that she is being from hotel to hotel!) Vaya, como ha cambiado Britney, recuerdo cuando era innocent-looking.
I am afraid that she is gonna caught a disease from being involved with so many different man...remember when she was caught in the pool with a stranger! Lynn WHY DON'T YOU DO SOMETHING!

Who took this photo?? Just awful!! Kids (for instance: Angelina's daughter Zahara's mother's story about being raped) and people in a cemetary should really be totally off limits to the press. No one seems to be getting the fact that when your grown (very wealthy-living on a compound) child suffers from a mental illness there is nothing a parent can do to help. If the child banishes you from their life, what can you do except pray? Also, bi-polar sufferers have a very distorted version of reality and often imagine they have been persecuted by someone-paranoid-when not taking meds correctly or mixing them w/other drugs/booze.

Did anyone stop to think that at this point Lynne may have been advised to stay away from Britney by professionals??? When you're dealing with a bi-polar in a mania state Lynne's presence can just make it worse. Britney obviously has a lot of anger directed towards her family and whether it is all real or coming from her paranoia or just not accepting responsibilty for her own actions remains to be seen. Unless any of you have dealt w/a family member with this illness-please stop placing blame.

To #282- No problems until she met K-Fed?? That's hilarious-she's been exhibting signs of mental illness since (publicly at least) her break up w/Timberlake. Walked off a stage in Mexico-got married in Vegas, etc. Come on, people, this has been a long time coming. I can't even imagine what Kevin went thru while they were married-forget the $$-bi-polar illness is unbearable to those who love you. Violence, verbal abuse, imagined cheating-it's ugly!!

It is Lynn's fault that Britney is in this type of condition - it should have been taken care of many years ago - possibly in teen years. Lynn was too busy marketing her Daughter , Money is the object of Lynn's existance - at the expense of her children. The sympathy photo op at the cemetary is merely a method to show she is human. Reality is that there is more of a money potential in Jamie Lynn, so Lynn will continue to be by her side. Reality at its best.

When your daughter has just been released from being involuntarily committed to the psych ward, what a perfect time to mourn the sister who's been dead over a year! Wow, if Lynne had waited a few more weeks, it would have been one year exactly to the day of her sister’s death and then the world would have seen how unselfish Lynne Spears is!

Is there any length to which this mother will not go to abandon her eldest daughter—who rescued Lynne from an abusive marriage and pulled Lynne and her own siblings out of poverty—and make sure that everyone in Christendom sees it?

Lynne knew exactly what she was doing. Note her more modest, athletic clothing, which is unusual for her. (Anything else would have clashed with her portrayal of grief.) And that other picture of Jamie Lynn with the GED book—God have mercy! Britney probably didn’t even finish middle school; assuredly can’t understand her divorce papers or the court orders which she’s legally bound to obey; and probably can’t even spell “psychiatrist” although she desperately needs a trustworthy one. But boy that “GED” on the outside of Jamie Lynn’s book is large enough for the waiting photographers to capture it!

I do not understand why on earth Lynn is not with Britney. I know Jamie Lynn needs her but so does Britney. I have a daughter Britney's age and nothing would keep me away from her if she were going through what Brit is going through. I have thought this all along. I understand that Brit has told Lynn to stay away--but can Lynn not understand that stay away may mean I need you and need your support and love. Maybe Brit is the parentifed child--she took care of the family, was the bread winner, and as someone said in a post above helped her get out of her bad marriage. Wooo if this is the case then we do have a very serious situation and Lynn will NEVER go to Britney--she is waiting for Brit to come to her. I think I will do some heavy duty praying tonight!!!!
