Brit Pitches Fit

We are hearing from multiple sources that Britney Spears is throwing a fit on the 7th floor of Cedars-Sinai. She is demanding to leave, screaming at the staff, will not lie or sit still, we're told.

From all indications, she is being held on a 5150, which means she is a danger to herself and others. Typically, people in that situation can be held for 72 hours against their will.

We have also been told she has pulled her IV out and is generally out of control. Another source at the hospital tells TMZ she could be heard yelling at various staffers and she was described by nurses as being "difficult."

92. If she did not want to be in the center of the flashbulbs, she should have chosen her actions carefully. She chose to party and drink no one put a gun to her head and made her do it. I do not feel sorry for her at all and in fact my concern is really for those two little boys. While I know children especially that young need both of their parents I feel they would be better off without Brit in their lives and with someone more grounded.
Besides, there is evidence that she has proven to be an unreliable mother even before all of this happened.

94. You have to admit that it must be an enormous shock for her. 24 hours ago she was a in a multi-million dollar house with a battery of flunkies kissing her ass and indulging her every whim. Now she's in a mental ward with impersonal professionals who won't even let her go the bathroom alone. Then again, from what we heard of that photoshoot, she's indifferent to being observed on the toilet.

95. Hey TMZ - as addicted to y'all as I am, I'm concerned about Britney's rights to privacy - ever heard of HIPAA? I know it's not illegal for you to go looking for her medical info without her consent - but it is immoral. She is arguably the world's most publicly violated person. Now that you know that a mental disorder may explain her behavior, shouldn't you pull it back a bit and let her get treated without the threat of your interests colliding with hers?
An example - nurses, orderlies, janitors, all looking for info on her while they should be acting COMPLETELY in her best interests instead of their own? They want the info to give or sell to the media, and because of that, she'll get worse care. Please do your part and try to protect her if and when those that should don't.

99. Ugh. TMZ does not have to adhere to the policies of HIPAA. It is only those within the medical field. If a doctor were to tell me something that violated HIPAA and I were to go and tell that information, the doctor would be the one in trouble ... Not me. That's where hearsay gets involved.

It's also easy for anyone not working in the medical field to feed information out to TMZ. Sam Lufti works for X17 and Britney. He calls them anytime anything happens with her ... He was also at the hospital the night she was admitted.
There are also security guards and others who are not covered under HIPAA. They are making minimum wage and a couple thousand dollars in their pockets to know about what Britney is doing doesn't break their hearts.

100. A few years from now, assuming she heals. She will make so much money on her autobiography, speaking engagements, and mental health awareness. Patty Duke (for you youngin's she was a HUGE child star back in the 60's or so), also has bi-polar and wrote a best selling autobiography. Britney's behavior is exactly like what Patty was like, until she was in treatment for her illness. She really changed and improved her life. If there was the same coverage of celebrities then as today, the drama would have been similiar. Patty also has two sons who are only a couple years apart as well (Sean Astin - "Rudy" and "Sam" from Lord of the Rings, and McKenzie Astin). Her major crash happened when they were toddlers as well. There is hope.

If she behaved the way the rest of us would she would have faded away! This is what makes you a superstar!
