76. I do feel sorry for her - and I know you're saying, "Why,she had everything she ever wanted and then some!" You know what, you're exactly right and that's been the problem all along. If someone hands you the world on a silver platter at the age of 16, what are you going to do with it? Do you know what to do with it? Probably not at the age - and I hold her parents responsible. Look at her sister? They had another chance to do it right (hence, they're divorced and the first time I've ever seen Britney's Father in public was last night when he showed up at the hospital) and now at 16, she's pregnant. Bottom line: Parents used those girls for their money, didn't raise them properly in the spotlight of Hollywood, and now these girls are going to suffer for it. I hope at least Brit gets on some good bipolar meds, stays off the meth and X, and gets her life back together.

80. I think Brtiney has been bi-polar for a long time. People who are, and dont seek help often use drugs, do many over-the-top stupid things. The problem was the drugs were masking it, and everyone just focused on the drug use (including the courts), and felt this was her issues. Her issue IS a mental disease that spiraled out of control, and Britney herself didnt even realize she had. Most people are truly uneducated when it comes to mental illness, and want to judge. I am glad that she is finally in a good hospital where she can be evalutated by experts, and get the propers meds, help.

If Britney gets better, Corn Flake, can prepare to hand her kids back over. She now has a medical diagnosis that legally cant be held against her if she gets help for it. Before people trash her, they need to look up bi-polar and see that thisis so Britney, and stop trashing her, this could be you, or one of your kids one day.

K-Feds "camp" needs to back off and out of this. They have NO RIGHT to be involved with her treatment and the HIPPA act should protect her from these people. IF K-FED was aware that she was Bi-Polar and conintued to trigger her, then he should be held responsible for this as he knew that what he has been doing to her for the past year would ultimatly drive her to a mental break down.

83. This makes sense as bipolar is often onset in a person's early adulthood and can occur after childbirth. Clearly on Thursday she was exhibting full psychosis.

85. It's astounding how many of you are ignorant when it comes to mental illness. But, I guess if you have no experience with people who are truly sick and struck by this disease, it's easy to be clueless. I pray that you never have to watch a loved one go through a psychotic break, not for your sake, but for theirs. And, God forbid they kill themselves because of it. Of course, your reaction wouldn't be guilt, it'd be anger at them for not simply "getting it together." Pathetic.

86. I've been saying since her impulsive marriage to Jason Alexander that she is Bi-Polar. For those who say one can't become Bi-Polar overnight, you are technically right., but the symptoms don't quite commonly become apparent until the early 20's. Sometimes a pregnancy can exacerbate it. Without treatment, it gets worse. It is not curable, but can be controlled with meds. The hardest part is getting the victim to realize they are Bi-Polar and even harder to get them to stay on medication. They start feeling better and go off the meds not realizing it's the meds making them feel better. Brtney is textbook for someone with an out of control Bi-Polar Disorder. She needs therapy and meds. She also needs rehab if she has a dual diagnosis of substance abuse. I'm not qualified to diagnose this disorder or anything else, but based on my experiences within my own family, I believe I'm right. Don't be so quick to judge the parents, At one point, all you can do is let go and save yourself and the rest of the family and hope and pray the family member with this disorder will get the help they need. This 5150 may be the best thing that ever happeded to Britney. It's just a shame it's so public.
