Sources in Team Hilly tell TMZ there has been an ongoing, internal push to get the possible first female president to wear warmer, more feminine colors. We're told the Senator resisted, favoring more mannish blues and grays to convey seriousness, authority -- and by default, coldness. Didn't she learn to avoid navy blue dresses?!
We're told Hillary is now giving in to her camp's fashionistas and adopting warmer hues of red into her wardrobe. So long Janet Reno, hello Heidi Klum -- in her dreams.

Four years ago I would have been caught up strictly on "inspiration" and, possibly, opposed to Senator Clinton though the challenges at hand require a pragmatic choice and that is Senator Clinton out of the Democratic field. I support a Clinton-Obama or Clinton-Who? ticket but not a Obama-Who?. Senator Hillary Clinton is the only one in the field who will be able to help save the Middle Class of the United States and be able to function 100% the day she enters the Oval Office.
The blue brings out the color in her eyes.
I personally think it works better for her than a red would.. I don't think a "warmer color" would work well with her skin tone under the bright lights during televised debates either.

Why are female candidates expected to look "warm" and "feminine"? Male candidates don't have to dress to accentuate their masculinity. Why the double standard?
Why are women in male-dominated professions considered b*tches unless they make a federal case out of how "feminine" they are? Are the men in power scared of powerful women who don't package themselves as cute, girly and inoffensive?
(And this is from someone who doesn't support Hillary in particular. I'm just wondering about the sexist standards in politics in general.)
