48. What amazes me to no end in this ridiculous situation is the blatant incorrect reporting going on. No one moderates the foul and disgusting comments on the site. I'm all for freedom of speech but there are limits you can set on your site. CBSnews.com utilizes proper filters that take out foul words and moderating those "promotional comments" that you say you reserve the right to? What about all this interracial and black white dating crap? Do you think anyone wants to read that over and over? Plus the Perezhilton.com level posters that copy and poste 40-50 lines of text? If you ever want to be taken seriously, since you aren't now, and attract a decent, educated audience, moderate yourselves first and foremost and get the kids off of here.

The first order of business is to post accurate and non-speculative articles based on fact and print decent pictures of people instead of the worst shots. I may not think much of Britney in the mothering department, but you know what? I'm pretty sure that my view has been slanted by what I read. I don't know her, never will and have NO idea how she feels, what she's going through and I'm certainly not qualified to diagnose her! Not even "Dr" Phil can do that. Diagnosing a patient takes more than 48 hours in the same hospital that almost killed the Quaid twins. It takes a lot of therapy to diagnose someone so everyone needs to back off the diagnosis train. I almost feel sorry for her the way she is hounded but she could keep her odd self home and work on herself and getting her babies back. That would go a LONG way towards healing herself.

49. No "Dr" Phil is not a real doctor. He is not a physician, he is a pop psychologist. He is not an MD, and even if he was an MD, he is not a staff MD at Cedars Sinai. If Britney Spears still has a legal team, she could easily sue the hospital for invasion of privacy and win.

50. Dr. Phil is neither licensed nor permitted to practice psychology because he was reprimanded in 1989 by the Texas Board of Examiners for Psychologists. When he failed to attend an ethics course required by the Board, his license lapsed and was NEVER renewed. He can only call himself a "Dr." because he earned a Ph.D. NO ONE should seek counselling from an unlicensed individual like Dr. Phil.

53. She was held involuntarily - which can be done if she is perceived to be a threat to herself or others.. While held involuntarily, she was evaluated. IF the evaluation had revealed that she really was a threat to herself or others, the hospital WOULD have gone to court to get a longer committment. - The fact that the hospital did not go to court to get such an order means that Britney is NOT a threat to anyone. Period.

But Dr Phil showing up was inappropriate. For him to say that the family was upset because she was not being kept longer makes no sense! What was his presence going to prove? He was not going to change the evaluation of the psyshiatrists at Cedars... And if the thought he was going to get Britney to sign a voluntary committment, he certainly went about it in the wrong way. He ambushed her!

Dr. Phil is NOT a psychiatrist (MD), although he acts like he knows more than anyione else. He is a PhD psychologist.

54. Dr. Phil, Damage control does not work here. Fine, so you had a reason to be in Cedars-Sinai. This is not all about YOUR show. Your integrity and ethics would have been GREATLY served, had you kept everything quiet with and about her. You want an intervention?? The girl is clearly upset and out of control, but you Try growing up as a child, and the only thing you understand, growing up, is that people love you, or want to be with you, because of what you can do for them, or pay them. How do you think that affects her value of herself, and how people would like to interact with her.?

You have done EXACLTY the same thing these hangers on, Paparazzi, users, and other scavengers have done.... and nothing you can say now, can change it. Just proves your human, and that you are focused on money. Hell, at this point, I give more credit to her management group and lawyers who have quietly said they wish her well, and simply excited the scene, with out all the hoopla and talking to the press, and making shows about her… because they sell. All about the ratings. Yes we know your in the business now, thanks to Oprah, But use her as an example, not EVERYTHING has to be public, you can do things privately, and if someone finds out you did a good thing, then great, let others say it… and you can just keep your mouth shut, and feel good you did something for someone else, with no strings attached. You’re a psychologists, you should know this, not everything needs to be on T.V.

Be a man, and own up to your mistakes, go to her, apologies for your little circus show, and try to help her on the QT, IF you really want to help her that is.
