Five days into the new year and smokin' hot smoker Katherine Heigl's already broke her resolution! How's that for commitment?!


TMZ caught Heigl out with the also newly wed Ellen Pompeo at Katsuya Saturday night -- Katherine lighting up a cigarette after last month telling photogs she'd be giving up cigs altogether. C'mon, Doc!

Heigl was everywhere this weekend -- shopping up and down Robertson while fielding questions, fending off flower-bearing photogs and taking pictures with anyone who'd ask. One girl also went crazy outside Il Piccolino as Katherine ate, screaming at TMZ to tell her who was inside ... we didn't.

Oh, I just wish she would go away! I'd never heard of her until I couldn't turn on the telly without seeing her talk about her upcoming wedding. Is she the only person who ever got married? I'm so tired of her and I don't even know who she is!
