Five days into the new year and smokin' hot smoker Katherine Heigl's already broke her resolution! How's that for commitment?!


TMZ caught Heigl out with the also newly wed Ellen Pompeo at Katsuya Saturday night -- Katherine lighting up a cigarette after last month telling photogs she'd be giving up cigs altogether. C'mon, Doc!

Heigl was everywhere this weekend -- shopping up and down Robertson while fielding questions, fending off flower-bearing photogs and taking pictures with anyone who'd ask. One girl also went crazy outside Il Piccolino as Katherine ate, screaming at TMZ to tell her who was inside ... we didn't.

16. Unfortunately, it is a very hard habit to break. You don't always succeed on your first try. I LOVE K.H. She is great on the show and seems like a very down to earth person when interviewed in "real life". She seems to be a very rare person in hollywood and seems very honest, which is unheard of.

20. Doubly unattractive! Prolly has a hole burned in her wedding veil! Give her 5 years and that constant smoking will even make her look more haggard than she already is.

25. smoking is the hardest habit to quit. you guys probably caught her at a stressful time and she just snagged one. who the hell cares. she's still hot haha.
