20. Is this guy even licensed in the State of California to practice Psychology? Does he have any clue about ethics? Clearly not. She did not invite him into her room at Cedars, she did not ask for his help and according to hospital regulations , he shouldn't have been on the floor in the first place. The fact that he showed up at 7:30 AM on a Saturday, just about the time for a shift change for the doctors and nurses just as they're finishing off the minimally -staffed night says it all. Sneak in for a sneaky, unprincipalled TV quasi -Psychologist, with absolutely no privileges at Cedars.

If he actually has a license, I hope the State of California pulls it.

21. By the way, TMZ, this IS no intervention show. To have an intervention, you have to have the person present. And that's not going to happen.

This is/was a show of past clips of Britney out of control, coupled with a "let's talk to her parents--how's that workin' for ya, Jamie and Lynne" interview. Then Jamie and Lynne express their frustration and pain. Then they go home, where nothing changes except Britney will get worse. And then Dr. Phil thinks he's scoring the coup of the century.

Oops...that one kinda backfired on ya there, didn't it Dr. Phil?

23. I know from personal experience that when you are bipolar II, experiencing rapid cycling mania and not properly diagnosed and medicated- alcohol and other drugs are a temporary ‘relief’ from the dark storm that is your brain.
If she has been clean and sober for awhile she has probably been in such an angry fog that just became too much for her to handle. Being Bipolar is NOT fun. It is exhausting to be so angry, frustrated and devastated all the time. The constant highs and lows, unbelievable rage, imagine being motivated by rage and anger at the people you believe did you wrong- in her state of mind she blames others for what has gone wrong in her life. Its not rational, but thats how her brain is processing events. Living like that, its awful. Thats why people w/ bipolar tend to also have drug/ alcohol issues. They try to self medicate to ease the pain.
She DESPERATELY needs someone to FORCE FEED her PROPER MEDS (Lithium) until she starts seeing the world through clear lenses.
Only then can she begin to realize that she does not have to live in turmoil all the time.
People need to have some compassion. The girl is in pain but doesnt even realize the way she feels is not normal and she can be helped. Her brain is her worst enemy. It is not working properly…. I cannot believe Cedars let her go- but even more so I cant believe Promises never diagnosed her disorder. I think her celebrity status is actually getting in the way of a proper diagnosis. I’m glad that finally people are saying its not just drugs.
Anyone who knows anything about bipolar has believed for a long time now, that she suffers from it. Too bad there is such a stigma attached to mental illness it took this long and had to get to this point.

I never understood the popularity behind this loud-mouthed obnoxious idiot except that Oprah's mindless minnions had to follow him because the all powerful Oprah told them to. If it was in fact the Spears family who called upon this charletan for help...SHAME ON THEM. Do they have no shame? How about keeping this matter out of the tabloids and get a REAL psychiatrist for your daughter who is obviously in need of help.
