32. Ha Ha Dr Phil!!! Papa Spears realized your game and now you are left with nothing. There is no way Brit's Mom or any of her friends will be on your show. I am sure you will try to dig up some unknowns to bolster your show. I think it would be a great idea to see some of your family members on your show. Let's start with Dolly Partin rumours? You are a fake and when Oprah realized it....she washed her hands of you. Maybe you can get Adrianne Curry or Christopher night again? Also, you could try "Marcia" from the Brady bunch with her crazy family. You have a deep well you can draw some dirt from.

33. Finally someone with some sense--or maybe someone hit him over the head. I'm sure Dr. Phil will make a mention of it on his show--writers strike and all!!!! Need some ratings--Maury is opposite him where I'm from and there is an abundance of 'Not the Baby's Daddy' people out there!!!! Might want to sign up for that Dr. Phil. 37. It seems to be really hard for the anyone to get through to Britney. When psychiatrists or therapists offered to help her in private, she told them to get lost at the hospital.
Maybe Dr. Phil is the answer. You have to understand what kind of peronality Britney is. Britney obviously loves being in the spotlight, having her photo taken, being on TV, being talked about. Now she has an opportunity to be on national TV and be helped at the same time. Might as well give it a shot -maybe she will go for it!

38. Frickin, you are absolutely right on most points, but not on the issue of "force-feeding" meds. In the United States an individual has the right to refuse meds. The only exception is during the time that a family member has the person involuntarily committed,. Once she gets out, she has the option of refusing to take her meds. I'm sure that you know that many , many people with mood disorders DO NOT take their meds as directed by their Psychiatrist.

It's so obviuos that those of us with any experience with Bipolar Disorder saw the signs oft his girl's Manic Episode more than a year ago, and have seen it spiral out of control. She's classic, and seems to have multiple disorders. At this point she has become super Manic , she's probably having a Psychotic Episode now. The only way that she can be helped now is to agree to hospitalization and treatment, or a family member has to have her involuntarily commited. A judge will have to agree to that. That's only the first step. She has to continue treatment.

40. Would not Dr Phil talking about Britneys medical condition to the public and media be a violation of Federal privacy laws enacted under HIPAA? Does he have privleges at that facility to see patients? She is an adult. Do Mom or Dad have the right to sic Dr. Phil on her. I am no Britney fan, but I am less of a Dr. Phil fan or a fan of opportunists.

If Dr. Phil saw Britney in his capacity as a psychologist (with or without her consent), he was totally out of line issuing the statement that "she is in desperate need of help", etc., etc. Isn't that a breach of ethics? It's one thing for laypeople to say "she's crazy", as a matter of opinion, another entirely when someone who supposedly has a code of ethics releases this information. So, who calls the American Psychological Society or whatever it's called to report Dr. McGraw?

44. KUDOS TO YOU JAMIE SPEARS!!!!!! So glad you came to your senses and understand what McGraw is really doing. At least someone in the family is exhibiting some responsibie behavior and not capitalizing on their child's misfortunes.

I don't have a problem with McGraw being a friend of the Spears family; I have no problem with the family asking him to talk with Britney or other family members because people do ask family friends to help. My problem is with McGraw and his wife capitalizing on this sad situation by aiming for a ratings grabber which shows just how low they will go and how low Mother Lynne will go. I'm sure Oprah is so glad she disassociated herself from his a few years ago.

We all know if questioned about his reasons for the show he will say it was in hopes that Britney might see it and be helped in addition to possibly helping others. If he's looking for guests, maybe he and Robin can have a round table discussion with Mother Spears, Virgie Arthur, Mother Jackson, Mother Vick, former friends of Elvis, and the ghost of Judy Gardland's mother because they all did such a good job in the caring for their children in teaching them to become productive adults!
