Eminem -- Not Slim Anymore; Big Health Scare!

Eminem TMZ has learned Eminem was rushed to the hospital over the holidays.

Hospital sources tell TMZ Em was taken to a Detroit-area hospital for a serious heart condition and severe pneumonia. Sources tell TMZ Em's weight has ballooned to 212 lbs.

Eminem 's publicist told TMZ: "Over the holidays, Marshall Mathers, aka Eminem, was under doctor's care at a Detroit-area hospital for complications due to pneumonia. He has since been released and is doing well recovering at home."

33. i was thinking the other day of how cool it is that he is not a train wreck like the rest of em' in hollyweird. it's sad that i was thinking about him at all lol. he's layin' low and enjoying the rich life after his terrible childhood. good for him.

39. If he has lung and heart trouble, it's pretty likely he's on something like prednisone, which can make you gain a lot of weight. What, he's about 5'8, right? 200lbs (I guess depending on HOW he carried it) might not look all that big.

41. JillyB: 5'8 and 200 lbs gives you a BMI over 30, i.e. above the obesity limit. How is that not bad? Americans are so used to seeing fat people everywhere they don't know what is normal anymore.

I want to see photos! Are there no paps in Detroit? In that case, I suggest that all those who complain about being harrassed by paps move from LA to Detroit
