Eminem -- Not Slim Anymore; Big Health Scare!

Eminem TMZ has learned Eminem was rushed to the hospital over the holidays.

Hospital sources tell TMZ Em was taken to a Detroit-area hospital for a serious heart condition and severe pneumonia. Sources tell TMZ Em's weight has ballooned to 212 lbs.

Eminem 's publicist told TMZ: "Over the holidays, Marshall Mathers, aka Eminem, was under doctor's care at a Detroit-area hospital for complications due to pneumonia. He has since been released and is doing well recovering at home."

46. I am amazed at how cruel people can be. This man could have a major medical problem that could lead to his death and you are worried about the fact that he gained weight. You want to see pictures. Instead of sitting on here being rude, say a prayer. I know I will.

56. i'll throw in my 2 cents...a friend of ours (male, age 39) recently was diagnosed with cardiomyopathy...and the weight gain for him was rapid and they had to drain off the fluid he gained b/c his heart wasn't processing blood/oxygen/co2 the right way, which can cause fluid on your lungs and fluid in your limbs, extremeties.

Charlie have you ever been to Detroit? Actually a celeb could live very comfortably in one of the suburbs that rival LA's and live larger, cheaper and not get followed. Big ol Retha (Aretha Franklin) does. So does R&B singer Anita Baker in the Grosse Pointe Area. Oh, and 5'8" and 200lbs is actually considered "normal" in DTW. 60. Alright all you haters... just stop already. SO WHAT he gained weight...like any of your sorry butts haven't at one time or another. If he is not well mentally or physically then we need to wish him well and HELP him, not hurt him. I know some of you feel he derserves it but let's be honest with ourselves, we've all done something in our life that we later regret... so get over it. Love You Marshall. Get well soon!!!
