Ricki May Have Lost John's Number

Ricki Lake and John Mayer were the rumored couple du jour (literally, one day) just a couple months ago. 'Memba them?


But that was an eternity ago, and even though Mayer supposedly was itching to wade into Ms. Lake, it looks like John was the one left all wet, if at all. We spotted Ricki in NYC the other night, and she gave us the lowdown on their alleged romance.

16. Who cares! She has a couple of kids, and is divorced! He doesn't need to be hanging out with her, anyway. Plus, the girlfriend he has now is adorable.

18. "Du jour" is not "literally 'one day.'" Du jour is "of the day," something anyone who's ever eaten in a restaurant knows. "One day" would be "un jour," literally.

19. I think she was more than polite and kind to you TMZ! By the way, what "lowdown" were you talking about? How was "John the one left all wet???" She didn't say anything like that. She just said nothing's going on with her love life. I don't get it..

20. 15. My sister went to her show in NYC and I guess she's a REAL bitch when the camera's aren't rolling. MEAN and nasty to the audience and the guests.

Mean, maybe your sister caught Rick when she was having a bad day. Sorry to hear that thou :(

I went with my 3 female friends for the October 5th 2001 taping. The show was about women who sit at home and dont work, and collect welfare. My friend Marlena was the last guest of the final segment. All i can say about Ricki Lake is that she was very nice to all the women on the stage. She was very curtious and respectful to all the panelists and their guests. At the end of the show, when me and my friends were sitting in the front row, Riki Gave us hugs, and told us to have a safe trip back home.......and this was when the camera weren't rolling.
