Brit's Parents Tried to Commit Her

TMZ has learned Britney's parents -- especially her dad -- have been earnestly trying for months to get her committed into a mental hospital for a bipolar disorder.

We know Jamie Spears in particular has felt since last summer that Brit was suffering from a mental disease and not substance abuse. Jamie was looking for a way to push his daughter into a facility but she refused. Indeed, we're told she refused and continues to refuse to undergo a battery of tests that would officially diagnose the bipolar disorder.

We're told both Jamie and Lynne Spears believe Sam Lutfi, the guy who was inseparable from Brit until last week, was a prime reason she was refusing treatment. They are so mad at Lutfi they threw him out of Cedars last week.

166. Now that's the way to get their hands on all her money..........maybe they'll share with deadbeat, or should I say the other deadbeat!!!! Is it hard to believe that the woman who had 2 children close together may have Severe Postpartium Depression and not be bipolar................. Oh WAIT, they probably can't commit for severe postpartium that just wouldn't give them the control they are so desperate for.........Geezzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz give me a break!!!!!

170. So, this article says Brit's Dad and her Ho-Mama threw Lufti out of Cedars -- Did Lynne the Pimp actually go out to California or not? Last seen she was posing (yes, more than one obviously posed shot was filmed) at her sister's grave, trying to look pitiful, probably in an effort to get sympathy instead of the criticism she deserves. What's new on that?

171. #151, what you say is very true, but in the case of Brit's parents, especially her mother, she has been used for monetary gain, given a terrible upbringing, not taught the basics even of life skills, and Lynne Spears has proven time after time she is more interested in herself than anyone else. People who live near Kentwood and know how she is, have said that she'snever cared for anyone as much as her own self. Even if Brit didn't want to see her, she should have been on thefirst flight to CA when that happened.
