Brit's Parents Tried to Commit Her

TMZ has learned Britney's parents -- especially her dad -- have been earnestly trying for months to get her committed into a mental hospital for a bipolar disorder.

We know Jamie Spears in particular has felt since last summer that Brit was suffering from a mental disease and not substance abuse. Jamie was looking for a way to push his daughter into a facility but she refused. Indeed, we're told she refused and continues to refuse to undergo a battery of tests that would officially diagnose the bipolar disorder.

We're told both Jamie and Lynne Spears believe Sam Lutfi, the guy who was inseparable from Brit until last week, was a prime reason she was refusing treatment. They are so mad at Lutfi they threw him out of Cedars last week.

31. She was probably ok before she spit out two kids so quickly. Her hormones are screwed up and there's nothing that can be done unless she wants help.

33. There a lot of undesirables feeding off of Britney (TMZ???). Of course they don't want their meal ticket committed, poor girl, she doesn't stand a chance of getting help.

34. As soon as she runs out of money she'll hit rock bottom. I hope that the court will step in, appoint a guardian for her, and freeze her accounts so she can't wrecklessly spend anymore. Her kids deserve something....

36. K-Fed should absolutely deny her visitation unless she is diagnosed and treated for her problem. She will end up hurting her children. We read about it all the time in the paper. The woman in Houston who drowned all 5 of her kids in the backtub and the one who ran the car off into the lake and drowned the kids sitting in the backseat in their car seats a few years ago.

38. Her family isn't interested in her money - if they were, they'd still be in her life. Unfortunately, once they say NO to the BRAT, she cuts them out of her life. If they were soooo damn interested in her money, they would still be her YES people - but they aren't!!!! I feel bad for her mom - she worked her butt off taking care of BRATNEY and her career - and as soon as she started to look out for her emotional and mental state, UNFITNEY cut her out of her life! You can't BLAME MOM for what is happening to her children - FYI - PLENTY OF 16 YEAR OLD GIRLS GET PREGNANT, UNFORTUNATELY! IT'S NOT HER FAULT! BRATNEY cut her family out of her life when they tried to HELP HER - just like she did with her PUBLICIST, MANAGER, FRIENDS, LAWYERS, AND HUSBAND! If you don't KISS HER ASS - SHE CUTS YOU OUT! Now, all they can do is sit back and WATCH as she slowly KILLS HERSELF!!! The only people I feel bad for are her MOM, AND HER SONS! It must be HELL watching your daughters MAKE POOR, and even ILLEGAL decisions and then be BLAMED for their BAD BEHAVIOR! I am sure, like any good parent, she is blaming herself and beating herself up over all of this - even though it ISN'T HER FAULT! It seems to me, she's trying to make the best out of the DISGUSTING decisions her children have made, and TRYING LIKE HELL to help them!!

40. She's in total denial. She's acted in ways that makes normal people say "WTF?", but because she's got money, she thinks (in her own mind) that she's shielded from ordinary concerns like mental health, STD's, stupidity, bathing, etc. I don't think it'll be too far in the future when we see her standing on a street corner naked from the waist down, peeing on herself...

42. Good luck to them on that one. She has enough money and will prob never allow anyone to commit her. Another Anna all she has is bunch of enablers and douche like The muslims guys and Ali.It is not easy to commit someone.They should have done it a long time since she started to misbehave since her divorce.

Remember her gold digger muth'a' has screwed her over and over again , and Father of her children back stabbed her and cheated on her and all the others are have their hands out too.....Madonna.. she adores you.....
