Rapper to LAPD -- I Have Contempt for You!

We've learned an L.A. County Superior Court judge may hold the LAPD in contempt of court over a hostage situation -- as in holding a famous rapper's loot hostage. Show me the money!

Rapper The Game is currently facing trial on weapons charges. His lawyer claims the LAPD confiscated $44,000 of The Game's money during the criminal investigation and has wrongfully refused to release it.

The Game, whose real name is Jayceon Taylor, was in court today and was told he will face the music on Feb. 4 -- that's when his trial begins. The judge also set a hearing for Jan. 22, when he'll decide if the LAPD should be held in contempt of court for withholding the $44 grand.

The LAPD would not comment because of the ongoing investigation.

19. That's funny, JCC925. I saw this drug dealer crash his car once, and this crowd of people gathered at the gate of a secured complex and was talking all kinds of trash to him. Yelling, pointing fingers, laughing, etc.. What they didn't count on was one of the tenants leaving and opening the gate. The drug dealer came in the gate and you would've thought that they were roaches when the light came on. One dude even ran off and left his wife. I was like, " Wow. I should've taped that." Keyboards do make you a whole lot braver. LOL!!!

20. i am so glad to see someone in the rap industry stick it to the police. the police really abuse their power at times because they think they are above the law. well the law is for everyone including those who are chosen to enforce it. so many times when rappers are in the media they are on the other end of the law well this just might show them that they have to obey the same laws they are trying to enforce. I totally agree. When you have to fight you're way through life from childhood on up, through no fault of your own, you know how to fight and defend yourself. Most of the rappers look pretty muscular to me. The only muscle I can imagine being built up by keyboarders are the one in their fingers!!!! Only good for self pleasurin'!!!! LOL LOL LOL

I love the game - i am praying he gets not guilty - i think he's soooo gorgeous i want his babies ha ha ha - but really he's a good person and i think he's not guitly - and i hope he gets off with it - stays beautiful - he has the most perfect face - and skin he is sooo sexy too - i love the game :)

30. This guy lives a street away from me. Question is why in the world does a rapper want to live in Glendale of all places?? The house accross from his didn't sell because of him.....they had to finally take it off the market. Another funny thing is Joel Madden and Nicole Richi live a few houses down from him. What an odd set of neighbors..
