Spears Fam Attacks Phil: You Totally Betrayed Us!

61. For those of you asking questions about Dr Phil's creditials and background, read his profile on Wikipedia. He has a PHD in clinical psychology. However, while practicing in Texas, he was accused of having an inappropriate professional relationship by the Texas Board of Exaimers of Psychologists and was ordered to have a psychological evaluation and was also monitured for one year, all in order to keep his license. He was also investigated by by Federal Trade Commisson for his unfounded claims that his "shape up" products could induce weight loss. That's whey he dropped his "shape up" line. He was also sued by the Deepak and Satish Kalpoe brothers who are suspected by some to be involved in the disapearence of Natalee Holloway. Dr Phil interviewed the brothers, then altered the interview to cast them in a light that was very defaming to their character. Very unethical. There you have it, the guy is very shady.

63. Well....let's see....WHO to BELIEVE ???? Since you certainly can't rely on the "media" for accuracy .....
Logic tells me that NOW.....the Spears family is trying to "cover their butts" and make Dr. Phil out to be the "bad guy"
in all this..... when if you THINK about it....If Britney is running out of money. ....I can certainly imagine THEM asking
Dr. Phil to visit Britney in the hospital and being "participants" in setting things up to do a "show"....... And THEN.....

64. Dr. Phil has not been licensed or permitted to practice psychology since 1989 when he was reprimanded by the Texas Board of Examiners for Psychologists. He can not render therapy, open a practice or otherwise offer professional services without being licensed. If you want entertainment, tune in to Dr. Phil's show. If you want counselling, go to a licensed psychologist.

65. If the Spears family really cared at all for their financier, er I mean, daughter, then they would stop with this public statements and take their daughter away from all this craziness. The fact is Momma Spears has LOVED the spotlight and the money her daughter's success has afforded her and could care less about her daughter. She was 3000 miles away while her daughter was having a breakdown. I don't care what the situation would be with my daughter, if something like that was happening I would be there in a heartbeat to protect and care for my child. The whole Spears clan should be ashamed and disgusted with themselves. And all the future stage mothers should look at this as to why you should NOT pimp your young talented child out.

67. Dr. Phil gave Britany respect. It is obvious that she has a problem. He reminded people of the sweet person she was and that she was in trouble. It was the first positive input said by anyone in the media. The family of Brit should get on board....and so should Britany. Get help! Don't pretend that there isn't a problem.

68. Phil never regained his licensure for practising psychology. he didnt meet the requirements. He is just a regular schmo who has experience in the field. He never even liked going one on one with patients. Read his bio. He felt it was uncomfortable and awkward so he went the corporate route with psychology. He has no license. At least in Texas he doesnt.

Other than the televangalists who are bilking millions out of their followers, he is the biggest phoney on TV. While commenting on his visit was tacky, he did NOT violate any doctor/patient relationship. Britney was NOT his patient.

71. Dr. Phil might be not everyones favorite. But at least he tried. Her family deffinetly doesn't know what to do and don't do much so who are they to say anything. Their Daughter is a spoiled little brat and think she could do what she wants because she has been surrounded by "yes men" . I don't care who tried and who does what as long as someone get to her soon before she follows Anna Nicole.

72. Dr. Phil aka Dr. Phony is all about himself. I'm sorry but his licensed lapsed in 1989. He was also reprimanded by the ethics committee. He is not a shrink. He is just a talk show host. Just because the Spears family reached out too him. Doesn't mean he should have tried to exploit them. EVEN IF THE SPEARS FAMILY ORIGINALLY REQUESTED AND AGREED TO GO ON HIS SHOW, DR. PHONY SHOULD HAVE TOLD THEM "HELL NO!". A real doctor would have advised them that this would not be a good idea. Only Dr. Phony cares about his show and it's ratings. And why he would RUN to the nearest reporter or entertainment show to DISCUSS his "meeting" with Britney Spears was disgraceful!!!

Fatso was also successfully sued last year because his diet products empire was a scam and harmed people. Why would anybody listen and buy products off this fatso is beyond me.

73. I think the Spears family needs to get out of denial when it comes to Brittany.
She needs help, and maybe the only way to get her to get is for someone to come
straight out and say it. They call him in and then when they don't like what he says
they say he has betrayed them. They need to remember when the point a finger at
one person for their problems they have 4 more pointed back at them. At this rate Brittany
is going to be the next Anna Nicole and then they will be blaming everyone else for not
helping her. Wake Up and get your daughter the help she needs, so your grandkids will grow
up with a stable mother, and not have to visit her at her grave site.

75. Isn't Dr Phil being sued for showing "doctored" tapes he had made re the Natalee Holloway case? I believe he was also sued over his diet program. His dating web sight has also had many complaints. What's up with this snake oil salesman?
