Regardless of whether ya'll think he's a quack or not, he would not have done what he did if HER family didn't contact him first. And if it was any other doctor, other then Dr. Phil, all this crap would not be going on.

Dr. Phil does NOT need Britney and her trainwreck of a family to make a living.

Place the blame where it belongs...in the hands of the family that got the ball rolling on all of this.

92. At the very least, "Dr." Phil's most recent odd behavior toward a patient or potential patient ought to be investigated by the Medical Ethics Committee of the state of California. HIPPA is extremely strict when it comes to privacy violations, as it should be. Phil demonstrates the problems with "celebrity" therapists.

The family is in crisis and until they all want to actually get the help they need and stop using the media to "talk" to one another, they will continue to run in circles. They are all acting out. Dr. Phil didn't reveal anything that the whole world didn't know. He was asked, he showed up, he is now a scapegoat. In messed up families, the problems are always blamed on someone else.

98. While I agree 100% with what this woman is saying, it's hard to swallow from that family. Her mother just found out her adolescent daughter is pregnant and made it a world announement and profitted off of it. The parents have whored out their daughters to the public from day one and lived off of their kids (they say Jamie has not done that lately, 12 steps perhaps?). These parents need to take an inventory of where they lead their daughters. I couldn't believe Lynn put Jamie Lynn on the cover of OK, sick.

99. Oh please! Dr. Phil is a quack, I'll agree with that. But Britney's problems started when Lynn decided to pimp her daughter into show business!! Brit was catered to and had her ass kissed from a VERY young age and now that she's out of the spotlight, her long-standing yet undiagnosed mental illness is coming to the fore (and it's STILL being speculated about). Same goes with Jamie who at 16 is having unprotected sex with someone who should be ashamed of himself. Lynn Spears is VERY quick to blame everyone else for the problems SHE created. Now that the spotlight is on her, and nobody is blowing sunshine up her butt, she's looking for someone - ANYONE else to blame for the slut daughters SHE raised. 100. I agree with the Spears spokesperson. I thought it was tacky of Dr. Phil to announce he had been to see Britney even if the family had asked him there but it seems he crossed the line by making a statement concerning his visit at all. As for the show he wanted to do, he could do it regarding bi polar and maybe help someone somewhere without having to have it centered around someone who is unwilling to get help right now.

101. Try to throw the blame on others. This is called projecting. I'm not on any side, but it seems to me that Britney's family have been her family for years way before Dr. Phil was even in the picture. I think they should stop wasting time with nonsense and try to help their daughter any way they can if at all possible because I feel they have failed her in the past. She was never given the chance to become a whole person and now she is lost. I hope she wants to help herself because that's the only way she will get better.

The Dr Phil as well as the family shouldn't use the Medias to talk about her and judge her, without have asked her FIRST.
The mother is trying to catch on her "faux-pas".
I'm sure Britney feels terrible without her children
She encounters emotional stress all the time, in the flashlight, no wonder she reaches extremes and uses provocation.
This "bad" mother -or labeled as such- has emotions, deep or apparent as we all do. To satisfy the public addicted to her daily adventures, everyone is hustling behind her- I feel she should move a while to a place none recognizes her for a break and introspection. But with all the stuff pending over her, can she even move out of the State?
