Juiced Jones Gets Six Months

A judge has just sentenced disgraced Olympic champion Marion Jones to six months in prison. Gimme that medal!

Jones, who recently returned her three gold and two bronze medals, had begged a judge to keep her out of the slammer. The 31-year-old former runner and long jumper was one of the most celebrated female athletes in the world -- until it was revealed she routinely used performance-enhancing drugs.

She recently admitted to lying to a federal investigator in 2003, and confessed that she took steroids "several times before the Sydney Olympics and continued using it after." What a role model.

34. Jail time was designed to protect society. WOW! I feel so much safer !!! Soon jails will be were you will find Americans. For a free society (joke) we have more people in jail then any other nation in the world. You jokers who think it's funny.. laugh it off soon they'll be coming for all of us. 38. How pathetic. She only fessed up because she got caught. She has forever disgraced the US Athletic system. All I see when I watch American's competing is roids. Makes me sick! American athletes are Cheaters. That's why Marion Jones started to suck in competition after the allegations came out - no more steroids!

41. If a Methamphetamine (an illegal drug) addict seeks help to aid them with their addiction, does the health provider turn them over to the law? Do they have to go to court, have their dignity stripped from them? No, they don't. Yes, the woman lied initially, but not only did she fess up, she turned over her medals. I think the six-month sentence is excessive to the tenth power! R. Kelly can pee on young girls, oh and by the way, that’s on tape, and still be able to tour and perform, but this poor woman and mother, not only has to serve 6 months in prison, but be stripped of her dignity. This could’ve been handled a tad bit better. Only my opinion.

44. Sometimes doing the right thing is the hardest thing in the world to do; however, she did the right thing. No one can attempt to blackmail her, no more lies, she can hold her head high and live with the consequences of making bad choices - just like we all have to do. It's a new day for her now and she has an important message for our youth. I hope she will share her story and the lessons she learn - the hard way. It may not seem like it now but what's happened to her is a blessing.
