Sorry that you feel that way. My comment is just that. It is my opinion. And you are entitled to yours.

Having raised children, the biting is to be expected. Children bite, slap, kick, yell and pitch temper fits and refuse to share their toys. That doesn't make these children "abnormal". They have to be taught not to do these things. That is what parenting is all about.

As you say, being eccentric isn't against any laws. But there is a difference between being a harmless eccentric and acting out as a sign of danger. Andrea Yates acted out so many times and never received the proper care she deserved. She never abused or hurt her children right up until the time she killed them all. There is no doubt that she loved her 5 children, but they are nevertheless dead. It is a tragedy that should have never happened and the fact that it does continue to happen is a sad fact.

No one, not even those with what we perceive to "have it all" is immune, either. I certainly don't hate Britney. I have a tremendous amount of empathy for her and what she is going through. But my empathy for her would never override the fact that her actions speak very loudly and the safety of the boys when they are with her is questionable.

43. I feel sorry for Britney!! You don't see K-Fed trying to get custody of his other children. Don't you wonder why? It's because Shar Jackson's bank account isn't as big. In the beginning Britney was the one at home. Kevin was the one out living it up at Britney's cost. Meaning she was footing the bill. Kevin is only after those kids as a way to support his lifestyle. Let him get a job ( a real job not sponging off of Britney)!!! I think he needs to make a stop to the employment office in his county or city.

No. I never posted on the AOL boards about Andrea Yates. Every time I think about it, I get ill.

Men (and women) killing their children to get back at the other spouse, or people who are truly mentally ill who kill their children because they are sick is something that tears my heart out.

And I won't forget the man in Dallas who picked up his children, called his ex-wife and then handed over the phone to his eldest daughter and told her to "tell Mommy goodbye" while he shot her younger brother and then her while their mother was listening on the phone, either.
