Commish Thinks Brit's a Little Meshuggah

britney spearsSources tell TMZ the Commissioner in the Britney case now views mental health -- not substance abuse -- as the root of Britney's problems.

We're told today's witnesses presented a deeply disturbed picture of Spears. The witnesses told the story first reported on TMZ this weekend of a woman out of control. We're also told her the judge was deeply concerned that her instability posed a danger to her children.

Commissioner Scott Gordon was definitely influenced by the fact that Spears chose not to show up in court.

19. If Britney doesn't think she is able to care for her children right now, she should just have the courage to say so, and stop dragging this out, and making a fool of herself, and everyone else! It would be more courageous of her to just admit that she does not feel that she is able to take care of her childen right now, and that they ae not her first priority, right now, and that they may be better off with their father.
Britney does not want those children! Britney's bipolar illnesss does not seem to affect her ability to care about, and show affection to a STRANGER, Adnan, but somehow we are to to believe thather bipolar disorder is affecting her affection or love for her children.
Think Britney would apear in court if Adnan was arrested, and she needed to testify in order inorder for him to go free. I bet you a million dollars, she would NOT miss that court date (scared or not!!) BUT she can't appear in court to fight for her own children.

There is no excuse for Britney's behaviour, if she wants to claim she has a problem, she should be seeing a psychiatrist, not spending her time, vacationing, shacking up, and driving around with Adnan.
The same energy she is using to do those things, she should be putting toward getting herself the help she need so she can be better for herself, and her children.

20. not only should the judge NEVER allow her to be around those kids ever again, he should order her to be sterilized so she can never again bring children into the world. C'mon judge do the kids and the eggs a favor and shut her down for good...

21. Her mental instability poses a danger to her children. Period. End of story. Until she is willing to commit to treatment she should not be allowed near those boys. If it continues for 18 months her parental rights should be TERMINATED. The kids will be better off without a sick, selfish person disrupting their lives.

23. Britney has a few priorities now, and none of them seem to be her children. I takes minutes, out of her day to go to court. She spends more time driving around L.A aimlessly every night.

Britney, give full custody of your children to K-fed, and leave them alone until you get your priorities in order: Just in case you haven't realized it, these should be your priorites:
1. Your mental health (so that you can be a good mother)
2. Your children

Give these two things, ALL your focus and energy.
Until you want to do that, end this game you are playing, and give full custody to K-fed, and let him raise those boys, something you obviously don't want to do right now.
Everyone can see right through this playing crazy crap. For you it seems to only come on when you need to go to court!!

You can't just "order" a mental health evaluation on someone. He is a commissioner in Family Court. He has no authority to "order" her to see a shrink. The only authority he has is over the two minor children. Even her family would have difficulty getting a court order to get her committed. It is not all that easy to get a court ordered commitment on a person, especially when that person is over 18.

27. So many comments here are made as if Britney has the ability to make decisions as if she is not mentally ill. Whatever illness she suffers from has taken over. If she suffered from cancer everyone would show her empathy and pray for her to get well......even though she really has no control over cancer. Mental Illness unfortunately does not get the same empathy. We are watching a tragedy here. It is so sad.

29. I thought I would be done with Britney but you know what? I'm going to try and have faith in the girl. I hope she gets herself together to get her children. NO mother should be without her children. I think K-Dud and the paps are driving her crazy. I don't know if she's crazy or on drugs. All I know is she needs to pull it together for her children. I think she doesn't think she is going to lose her children. She is living in La-La land and that is not a good thing.
