Commish Thinks Brit's a Little Meshuggah

britney spearsSources tell TMZ the Commissioner in the Britney case now views mental health -- not substance abuse -- as the root of Britney's problems.

We're told today's witnesses presented a deeply disturbed picture of Spears. The witnesses told the story first reported on TMZ this weekend of a woman out of control. We're also told her the judge was deeply concerned that her instability posed a danger to her children.

Commissioner Scott Gordon was definitely influenced by the fact that Spears chose not to show up in court.

64. Whatever the issue is with her drugs, mental illness, faking it for publicity, whatever your theory is - There is OBVIOUSLY something VERY WRONG WITH HER and should not have these boys right now. So what if she had her attorney's do the talking in written arguments, any mother who really wanted her child would have gone through heaven and hell to see them. The fact that she couldn't go into the courtroom today because she was "scared"is just crap. IF you want your children you do whatever you have to do to make sure you get them. She's not and it's just a shame, these little boys are going to grow up and see these stories one day and wonder what the hell was wrong with their mother.

65. Everyone knows she is mentally unstable. Not until she does something really bad (like kill someone with her reckless driving) will they do something about it. I just don't understand why they can't commit her to a mental hospital. For the safety of others. This is so crazy, they have her on film the way she is and nobody can't do a damn thing about it.

72. Something bad is likely to happen. Either she will hurt herself or hurt someone else. She was at the wheel today when she left court, clocked at speeds of nearly 100 mph with those crazy pap's following her. Is it going to take her attemping suicide or killing an innocent person for someone to intervene?

I think Britney needs all the prayers she can get.

It's being used by her ex spouse, it's being taken to court by her ex, it being exploited by the ex, its all of it. ...Period. 75. Why have kids if you aren't willing to raise them? I know some moms don't have much of a maternal instinct, she seemed upset at giving Jayden back, now can't manage to go to court and show the court she wants the boys.

Even given she has a mental defect, and I can see why because of the early fame, it just amazes me that she let her children go so easily.

I don't feel sorry for her, she makes more money in a day than I will in 10 years, she could have whatever she wants, whenever she wants, and chooses not to fight for her children.

If she doesn't get some help soon she is going to end up married to Adnan (once he gets a divorce) broke, old, and forgotten.

Speaking of Adnan's divorce, does that slut ever date single men?
